Chapter Fifteen

-Five years later-
-Jason's POV-
I woke up to smell pancakes I couldn't help but smile. I got out of bed and slipped on my sweats and went down to the kitchen. Once I got in I saw Ava helping Kolby as she was stirring the batter. She looked over at me and smiled.
"Daddy!" She said turning all her attention to me. She stepped down from the stool and ran into my arms this feeling is the best feeling in the world. I loved holding her in my arms and never wanted to let her go. I opened my eyes to see Ava smiling at us she was still as beautiful as the day I met her. Even though we didn't meet the way I would have wanted to I'm still grateful to have her in my life. "Good morning Mr. McCann." She said walking over to me and kissing me softly I loved my little family. "Good morning Mrs. McCann." I said softly on her lips before kissing her again. We have been married for two years now and everyday felt like our honeymoon. "Daddy me and mommy made you breakfast." Kolby said smiling at me I saw a lot of me and a whole of her mama in her. She was a mess in a half but she was my mess.

After breakfast be went and met up with Niko and Ashley at the park so out kids could play like we did every Sunday. Me and Niko were watching the girls and children at the swings. "Man if you asked me six years ago if I would want this life I would have laughed in your face." I told Niko. "And what about now man?" Niko asked. "I wouldn't change it any other way." I said looking over at him. "I know what you mean. I mean look at what we have all been through and now look at our lives. We did a whole 360 turn around." He said putting his arm around my shoulders.

We got back home and Kolby was out. I carried her into her room and took her shoes off I sat there and watched her face as she was dreaming. "Goodnight my love." I kissed her head before walking into the living room where Ava was sitting on her laptop. She looked over at me and smiled placing her laptop down. I laid on the couch with my head on her lap. "Is our angel asleep?" She asked running her hand through my hair. "Yes finally she has a nap." She kissed my forehead. "Have you heard from Nathan?" I asked her closing my eyes. "Actually no.. I have spoke to him for a few months now. Ever since he moved to Austin Texas and got a family of his own he has kinda kept his distance which is fine by me." She said kissing my head again. "You know." She said placing kisses on my cheek. "How about we." She kissed my cheek again. "Go take a nap of our own." She said finally kissing my lips I couldn't help but smile. I sat up and places my hand on her face. I finally pulled away and then lifted her up as she wrapped her legs around my torso.

We got up to our room and I laid her on the bed we pulled away and looked at each other. "I love you so much Jason." She whispered looking at me. "I love you too baby girl." I said kissing her lips. I was about to take off her top when we heard a faint. "Mommy?" I pulled away and we were both smiling. "Im going to go get her. We will finish this later." She said getting up then kissing me and walking out to get our daughter. This was my life. It had its stressful days and then we have amazing days. I know what the next day will bring. But there's one thing that I know for sure and that is I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
