My Angel, Her Devil 2: Nothing like us

Chater Eight

-Jason's POV-
I couldn't believe that today was the day. Today I'm going to see Ava and Kolby. It's been at least five months since I have seen my angels. And in a few hours I will have them both in my hands. I couldn't be more happier.

-Ava's POV-
I was getting Kolby dressed to take her to Nikos and Ashley's house but she wasn't feeling to well I could tell. She was cranky and felt a little warm. I called Nathan to see if Rosa was home.
"Hello?" He sounded like he was busy.
"Um hey.. is Rosa there? I need her to watch Kolby while I do some things today." I asked him.
"Yeah she's at the house, I'm at the station or I would ask to watch her. Is she okay?" He sounded worried.
"I don't think she feels good. I don't want to take a chance just in case."
"Okay, I will call Rosa and tell her you are bringing her over. Maybe we can go for lunch later? Or dinner?"
"Thank you and I'll call you later to see how busy you are."
"Okay Ava. I love you. Kiss Kolbs for me."
"Love you too." I told him and hung up.
I didn't want to tell Nathan where I was going because he is so protective. I finally got her to sleep so I put her in her car seat and started getting ready.

I was finally ready and she was still sleeping which was a good thing. I picked her up, the diaper bag, and my purse and walked out of my brothers house to my car.

I got to the house and nothing has changed. It felt good to be home.
"Hello Ms. Channing." I heard Rosa say coming from the kitchen smiling.
"Hello Rosa. Thank you for watching her. I just don't want her to go out of se does have something. I'll take we to the doctor tomorrow she doesn't have a fever right now just a little warm." I told her handing her the car seat and putting the diaper bag on the table.
I followed her up to the nursery. Where she took her out and laid her in her bed. I kissed her head.
"Thank you again Rosa." I hugged her and walked back down stairs to my car.

-Jason's POV-
"Where is she? She was suppose to be here thirty minutes ago?" I asked pacing the living room.
"Calm down Jase. She'll be here." Ashely told me from the kitchen making pasta salad.
"What if this is a sign? What if-" I was cut off my a knock on the door. Niko and Ashley looked at me then the door.
"She's here." Ashley said wiping we hands off and going towards the door.
"Ava! So glad you came." Ashley said greeting her.
"Hey Ashley. I would have been here earlier but I had to take Kolby all the way back to mine and Nathan's house so Rosa could watch her." Her voice hasn't changed.
I could hear they were coking this way. I looked at Niko then the stairs and darted up them to my room. I was nervous to see her.

-Ava's POV-
"Hey Niko. It's good to see you again." I walked in and hugged him. Even though he looked confused.
"Uh hey Ava, how are you doing?"
"I'm good. Kolbs is at mine and Nathan's house, she was a little warm so I wanted Rosa to keep her."
"Oh it's okay Daniel is at pre school today anyways." Ashley said sitting by Niko on the love seat while I sat on the couch.
"Is something wrong? You guys look really confused." I asked them.
"No everything is okay. Niko go get her present. While I go get us some snacks." Ashley said getting up taking Nikos hand before he could answer.
I watch as they left the living room I didn't want to sit there so I got up and looked at there pictures of there family. Their perfect little family.

-Niko's POV-
I ran upstairs to Jason's room an found him pacing the room.
"What the hell are you doing up here?!?" I whispered yells at him getting him to stop and look at me.
"I got nervous and ran. What if she don't want to see me? What if I'm just an idiot to be doing this? I can't take this. It was a bad idea." He said sitting on his bed with his head in his hands.
"Jase. You know loves you, hell she was going to go to fucking Colorado to see you. Get your ass down there and get her back. You need her. She needs you. But most of all Kolby needs you. Just think about that Jason." I stood up and walked back to the door closing it I walked downstairs to see Ashley still in the kitchen.
"I was hoping Jason would be with you.. Where is he?" She whispered to me.
"He got cold feet. But he's coming." I told her ribbon her back.
"I just hope you're right.."
I did too.

-Ava's POV-
I was feeling kind of uncomfortable and just thought I should leave. I wanted I leave but I didn't want to be rude. I was looking at a picture of Daniel when I felt like someone was watching me. I turned around and couldn't believe it. Jason.
