"usagi!" (name) shouted, usagi turned her head. " still no clues about her?" "no... i already checked her room, its empty. " usagi sighed. (name) clenched her fists, she grew more worried, they arent sure if shibuki is still alive. "i'll go and check again, seeyou." usagi gave tim a quick hug. "alright, be safe." (name) said as usagi nodded before walking away.

(name) harshly gripped her handkerchief, frustrated. she sat down in a stool as  more questions clouded her mind where is shibuki? is she ok? is the still alive? these kind of thought made (name)'s lungs tighten making it hard to breathe. tears were threatening to escape her eyes as she thought of a disturbing scenario where shibuki is... dead. she always looked up to shibuki, her being (name)'s sister-figure.

eun-hyeok noticed his friend having a hard time, so he decided to come up and ask her if she's ok. "hey, what's bothering you?" he crouched down and placed his hand on top of hers, rubbing (name)'s knuckles with his thumb. "i... we don't know where shibuki is..." "shibuki? the lady who's always with arisu's friend?" he asked, making (name) nod. "we're searching for her for the past hour now... still no clues and such." eun-hyeok can feel (name) shaking and trembling, she was also sweating so much.

eun-hyeok sat down beside her and patted her back, comforting her. "it's going to be alright (nickname)... just breathe."

(name) followed what eun-hyeok said, after a few minutes later (name) finally had calm down as she was drinking water from the bottle eun-hyeok got her. the two sat beside each other, only the sound of the other residents can be heard. "oh, i um... thanks for earlier, sorry if i bothered you." (name) looked down and played with the bottle. eun-hyeok softly chuckled and patted the girl's head, "it's nothing, we're friends right?" (name) looked at him, staring at hi. for a second before giving him a small, sincere smile, "yeah... of course."

if you're confused about their friendship, here let me explain. (name) and eun-hyeok are actually close friends, he was the first person who (name) met after moving in with her friends, they would go out and eat in a restaurant, play in arcades and sometimes, eun-hyeok gets dragged by (name) to go shopping. it's also the same as eun-hyeok's sister, eunyu.

"no, no, what're you doing, stop! my daughter is still out there!" a lady cried. "if anything happens to minju, it's all your fault!" the other residents tried to calm her down, but she kept on going. (name) and eun-hyeok stood up and checked what was happening. eun-hyeok stared at the woman, then the gate. "block it." he ordered, making the woman look at him in disbelief and panic as she opened her phone and showed the man something. "please wait! i can go get her quickly and come back." she begged, "open it, please!"

(name) just stayed silent as she watched the whole thing, eun-hyeok paused to think before answering, "i can't do that." he grabbed (name)'s hand and tried to walk away with her but the lady pushed him back. "and who are you!?" she shouted, "do you even know who i am!?" she continued, frustration was obvious in her voice. "i have to keep this place safe." eun-hyeok said with a blank look as he tried to help the others block the exit  it once again was stopped by the lady, "no, please don't do this!"

"it's working!" everyone's cellphones produced a loud noise, causing all of them, including (name), look at their phones.

"that man said he's going to the hospital today... did they do a test on him?" the dog owner muttered, she gasped and faced the girl with short hair, "it has to be radiation! oh my..." some of them were visibly shaking, scared knowing that they're all fucked up. the lady began to cry loudly as everyone continued reading the alert.

those with these symptoms must be quarantined immediately. nosebleeds, blackouts, and sudden aggressive behaviour.

"i have to go..." (name) excused herself, eun-hyeok nodded, understanding that she's probably going back to see her friends. she began taking the stairs, luckily, sh didn't encounter some kind of weird looking creatures, but she did find blood traces and ripped clothes along the way. her legs were about to give up as she reached the 14th floor, as soon as she reached arisu's front door, she swung it open, making the people inside flinch at her action, except for chishiya and niragi.

"gosh you scared me." karube had his hand on his chest. "no...no one has these symptoms... right?" she said in between breaths as she examined each and every one of them, all of them shook their heads as a chorus of "no" or "nope" rang through the room. "good."

"do we have to go down?" karube asked, (name) sat down beside niragi who had a bored look on his face, (name) put her head on his shoulder, niragi didn't complain though, he was quite used to it. "i don't know... let's wait until eun-hyeok makes a plan." she answered, "that four eyed bitch? why should we trust him!?" niragi suddenly exclaimed, (name) looked at him. with an un-amused face, "suguru please calm down." she sighed. after a good five-minute rest, y/n stood up (she was laying down with her head on niragi's lap as the boy was reading something from his phone.) and excused herself as she got out of the room and headed of to her own, which was pretty near.

she swung the door open and rushed to get her laptop, turned it on, hoping to find some information online. luckily, there was still internet connection which allowed her to access websites.

it isn't a disease, it's a curse

"crucru? what a weird name..." she said particularly to no one as she kept on scrolling.

they complain of frequent nosebleeds and auditory hallucinations. the cause couldn't be determined...

....they weren't from here, they came because they showed symptoms. they turned into miserable, desperate beings. it suddenly begins one day, and never stops. humans won't overcome this. if you have symptoms, kill yourself before it's too late. being alive will harm others, if you decide to live to the end... there's something you must know... that is...

(name)'s other hand was shaking in nervousness as she kept scrolling through the website. "what is it!? why do you have to take so long for fucks sake!" she shouted.

(name) tried clicking the refresh button many times but it doesn't work, she groaned, she was so frustrated with the website that she nearly punched her laptop. "fucking hell..." she closed the laptop, put it in her backpack full of food, clothes and her other stuff (she has a bag prepared in case of emergencies) she grabbed the bat arisu gave her and walked out of her room, with the backpack on.

a text message, (name) opened her phone and clicked the messaging app.

: (nickname), come down with everyone.

she typed in a response and sent it.

:alright, give us a minute.

she opened the door to arisu's room once again, gaining the attention of everyone.

"alright bitches, pack up, we're going down."
