From the moment he had met you in Twilight Town, a strange feeling had stirred in Roxas's supposedly empty chest. He had no way of knowing that it was love he felt, or of the things that this foreign feeling would cause him to do in the future.
**In the first spring, I met you; with that innocent smile of yours.**
It was one of those off types of days, where both Xion and Axel were either off attending to business or were simply away on a mission. He couldn't be bothered to remember the exact circumstances as to why they were both unable to attend their daily afternoon ritual that one day, but it had occurred; and he had only a lonely evening of eating sea salt ice-cream and watching the sunset to look forward to.
Or at least, that was what he assumed would happen as he ascended the familiar steps of the clock tower; a single stick of ice cream in hand. He solemnly looked down at the already melting treat, cerulean orbs downcast in what would have been loneliness. That is, if he had a heart to feel such an emotion.
As he rounded the final step of the rather tall flight of stairs, a patch of color in the usually very monochrome tower caught his eye. Looking up with a start, he blinked in confusion upon seeing an unfamiliar figure seated on the ledge he usually perched upon; which was an odd sight to say the least. He was somehow convinced no one besides his small trio of friends knew of this place.
The figure sported a long, hooded coat; similar to his own obsidian hued one in length. However, the figure's seemed to be made of a much lighter material and was a light gray in color. He could see a pair of dark jeans from his place behind the figure; as well as a small bit of a (f/c) top peeking out from beneath the coat. The hood on the figure was up, causing his examination of the strange visitor to the tower to end there.
His heavy footfalls seemed to have alerted the figure, who in turn jerked around to lock gazes with the lightly shocked Keyblade wielder in surprise. (e/c) orbs collided with cerulean, and Roxas found himself lightly mesmerized. He studied the now visible figure's face, and found that it was a girl whom was perched on the ledge. In her haste to turn around, the hood had fallen to her shoulders; revealing (h/l) (h/c) locks that swayed lightly in the afternoon breeze.
His shameless examining was interrupted when the girl shot up from her seat on the ledge, expression apologetic.
"I'm so sorry! I wasn't aware anyone came up here. Sorry for taking your spot. I'll leave right away." Her voice was panicked and slightly fearful, which left Roxas in a state of confusion. As she fumbled to gather her things, a small bag and what looked to be a notebook, he noticed for the first time that her face looked...damp? Her eyes were also rather red...Was she maybe sick? Roxas didn't know much about the way a Somebody, assuming she was one, were to act; but he had a nagging hunch that something about the girl was off.
Surprising even himself, he held up a gloved hand as a sign he was harmless as the female scrambled to leave the balcony; causing her to look at him curiously.
"No, It's...uh...fine. You can stay...If you want to, anyway." He stated awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck exasperatedly. It's not like it was his place to make her leave, anyway; right? He didn't own the tower or anything...So she had the right to be here just as much as he did...Right?
The girl shifted the weight of her bag over her shoulder awkwardly, suddenly trying to hide her face from the boy with a downcast gaze.
"Are you sure? I mean, I don't want to be a bother to you or anything..." She mumbled, almost too quietly for him to catch. However, he did catch what the strange girl said; causing him to tilt his head lightly in confusion. A bother? Why would she be that?
