any ways- head cannons ig:

~ I think in a lot of fanfics, Luffy is too innocent. He probably knows what love is (or I like to think one of his brother taught him what it is).

~Love language is probably quality time or touch.

~Over time you'll probably get used to him either launching himself at you, or you getting launched at him.

~When/ if you get a bounty, he was running around deck showing it to everyone. Nami ended up punching him and telling him that now the Marine will really want to get you. He screamed and from then on he became really over-protective of you around Marines.

~When you aren't giving him attention he'll most likely wrap his arms and legs around your body and speak into your ears when you say or do things.

~When he wants to get to know you, by asking questions about yourself, when you talk he had stars in his ears the whole time and listened very well.

~If he ever gets into a fight and he knows his hat might get hurt, he'll give it you

~if he gets jealous, which I think he does easily, he'll pout until you ask him whats wrong so he can tell you.

~If Nami tells him to try and stay out of trouble he wont listen, but if you tell him to he'll try his best.

~When the crew saw Boa Hancock again, before she could fawn over Luffy, he warpped himself around you while you introduced yourself to her.

~If you meet Sabo, Luffy will try to always be in physical contact with you the whole time.

~He is also a little worried Sabo will fall for you, since you're perfect.

~He likes when his hair is played with

~Luffy likes salty, and once he tried to add more salt to his meat but Sanji caught him and lectured him about it not being healthy.

~If someone cries in front of him, he'll panic a bit but settle on hugging them until they feel better

~If you come out to him, he'll either yell "I'm gay too! :D" or just be extra confused: "of course you like (what ever gender). Why wouldn't you?"

~if you have brightly colored hair, he'll ask if he can eat it.

~he accidentally flirts all the time like:

you:"Luffy Sanji said dinner is ready. Let go so we can eat."

"Well meat is really nice, but you matter way more."

(scene two, you were taken by the enemy along with supplies and Usopp)

Luffy:" Alright we need to get Usopp, meat, and Y/N!"

Nami:" why that order? you'd think meat or Y/N would be first."

Luffy:" I heard Brook say you always save the best for last"

~No matter What e will always try to keep you comfortable

~If you ever felt like you needed a break from him, or wanted to break up he would give you space and ask if you're sure later.
