And while all the guests are distracted by the opening of the buffet, Ethel and Mildred sneak away, reaching the side garden behind the castle.
The dark sky is cloudless, numerous twinkling stars decorate everything like sparklers on an evening gown.
Mildred laughs as the wind ruffles her hair, now devoid of the tiara that Ethel has made disappear with a spell.
Both girls lay down on the slightly dewy grass, sighing deeply and admiring the big starry sky above them, eyes wide with wonder.

«I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful sky, maybe it's because I feel truly happy for the first time.»
It is Ethel who breaks that fragile silence between them, revealing something that makes Mildred's heart explode with happiness once again.
«You are free Ethel, and I can't help but think how lucky I am to have witnessed your transformation, to have seen the real you before everyone else.»
Mildred almost whispers, letting the song of the cicadas in the distance overpower her words.
«I don't know what the future holds for me, but I am endlessly grateful to have known you.»
Ethel reveals, turning her head in Mildred's direction, letting a few blades of grass run through her hair.
The two witches don't mind ruining their clothes, this moment seems to be suspended between earth and sky; just them and their words for a moment that seems endless.
«I don't know how long what's between us can last now, but I promise I'll cherish every moment and remember everything with happiness.»
After the redhead's words Ethel extends her hand toward her, and Mildred holds it tightly.
«I love you Mildred, I'm sorry I ruined your night.»
Ethel whispers, blushing and shifting her gaze back to admiring the stars, embarrassed.
Mildred sighs lightly and squeezes her girlfriend's hand even tighter.
«I love you too Ethel, and if this is the result then you can ruin all the parties you want.»
