Chapter 57

"Dad!" I whined. "We've been together for seven months!"

"That's why I don't want it to happen!" my dad exclaimed.

"Please! It's just a sleepover!" I said.

My dad sighed deeply.

"This means I'm gonna have to give you the talk," he said sternly.

"Oh my god Dad! No!" I said. "Peter and I are not gonna do that! We haven't even spoken about it yet!"

"I still need to talk to you about it," my dad said.

I groaned and sat down on the couch. My dad sat across from me.

"I know you know what sex is," my dad said. "I just want you two to be safe. I know that Peter wouldn't do anything to you without your permission, but if he does, you should know that you can come to me."

"He wouldn't do that," I said confidently.

"I know," my dad said. "I'm just creating an environment in which you can come to me to talk about things."

I nodded. My dad reached behind the couch and grabbed something. He threw it at me and I caught it. It was a box.

"Dad, please!" I said, chucking the box onto the couch next to me.

"If you're gonna do it, I need to know that you're gonna be safe," he said, a cheeky smile on his face.

"Well, I'm just gonna go and jump off of the roof now," I said, standing up.

My dad chuckled and stood up too. He reached for me and gave me a hug.

"Don't forget to bring it," my dad said.

I shoved him and he started laughing.

"I'm also gonna talk to May," he said.

I sighed, just giving up on that.

"Friday, please delete the last ten minutes of video and sound for this room," I said.

"Hey, hey, Friday, don't do that," my dad said.

"Dad!" I groaned. "If Sam and Bucky find that they will literally embarrass me to death."

My dad chuckled and walked out.

"Friday?" I asked.

"You heard Mr Stark," she said.

I groaned and took out my phone.
