Plan of Action

Vivianna POV

They both looked at me expectedly. "I have some things to discuss with Sebastian." I said gently. His eyes flashed black, the normal emerald now gone. "MY mate will not be alone with another male" he said lowly. "Theo" I snorted, the noise bringing some green back to his eyes, "He is your brother, and my family as well. If anyone besides you could be trusted with me it is surely him" I countered, hoping to appeal to his reasonable side. "Smothering me will not make me love you" I added gently. "I don't want your love. I need your proximity because of a stupid bond that the moon goddess cursed us with." Theo spat, I subconsciously flinched. "Talk out whatever the fuck you need, but you are staying with me kitten." He added before storming out. "Sebastian" I started, I could see he was holding back tears. "This just can't be happening" he muttered finally. "I love you, and I know that is not fair, but fuck Vivianna. I am so in love with you." he cried, the tears finally dropping. My heart broke in that moment, I had never known him as anything but a friend. "Sebastian" I comforted. He took a deep breath and composed himself. "You are going to go with him, aren't you?" he accused. I had to though, right? He was my mate and if that scene was anything, he would fight his own brother for this "curse" the moon goddess bestowed on us? "Seb" I reasoned, "Perfect, just fucking perfect" he cried. He has never acted this way. "What is the alternative? You go to war with him over someone who isn't even your mate? Sebastian, we knew this day could come, and is it really a total loss? He clearly does not want me beyond proximity" I added lightly. He gave out an exasperated sigh. "This is just unbelievable" he groaned. "What if I was a Luna to both packs? I could work remotely for your pack while taking on the additional responsibilities of Theo's pack?" I compromised. "It is not about the fucking paperwork Vivianna" he scolded. "Seb, why are you so angry with me?" I asked. "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU" he screamed, causing me to flinch. He never took that tone with me. He took a deep breath, I could see his wolf threatening to take over. "I am sorry. I do not mean to scare and you and I know I have no right to be angry. But come on, the timing could not have been worse! I was going to fucking mark you!" he exclaimed. I took a calming breath, "Sebastian, I love you. You are my best friend, but he--" I started, but he cut me off. "Is a fucking stranger to you. He does not know you, why you are so special.. He doesn't even want you Vivianna! His stupid wolf just can't be away from you" he trailed off. I let his words sink in for a moment, Theo did not know me. I did not know him, but I know I could make him better.. he could make me better. I know there is some higher power that wanted us to be together. "I was designed for him, that's what a mate is. I will teach him if I have to. You told me you two were never shown love, and I like to think I taught you what love is. It is his turn to learn, and from everything you have told me, he needs this lesson far more than you ever did" I said, touching his face lightly and wiping away his tears. "Now no more of that. I will come visit every weekend and handle the normal Luna duties until you name my replacement... and of course to see you" I say, finality in my voice. He shook his head in defeat. "Vivianna, this cannot be so. There has to be another way, please" Sebastian pleaded. "Please what?" A gruff voice questioned. I turned to see a seething Theo. "He was merely pleading I adhere to the deal I have laid out for him" I said, not breaking eye contact with Sebastian. I could not handle a brawl between brothers. "When you inevitably fuck up and hurt her, I will bring you the death you deserve" Sebastian stated coldly. I saw Theo fighting for control, I placed a gentle hand on Theo's chest as he rapidly closed the distance between him and his brother. It seemed to at least stall him, but I knew I would need to act quickly. "Sebastian!" I exclaimed, "That is your brother. I will not be the source of the demise between you two. This is an unimaginable turn of events, but we are a fucking family. Now start acting like one." I snapped. I felt Theo growl under my touch. My eyes snapped to him, I saw him struggling to maintain control. "Theo" I purred, hoping to distract him. I could sense he was seeing even more red than before. His eyes waivered, momentarily looking at me. I applied more pressure and squared up to him. "Theo" I coaxed, moving my hand up to his cheek and rubbed my thumb against his soft lips. He closed his eyes and hummed in approval. Sebastian, please, go to the car. I will meet you there shortly I linked. He silently obeyed, allowing me to calm Theo as he left. "What, pray tell, is your agreed upon arrangement?" He asked suddenly, his voice dangerous. I went to move my hand away, he involuntarily growled but made no effort to place it back. "I told him that I would be moving here--" I started, he remained quiet. "I will return to Sebastian's pack on the weekends and continue my Luna duties... for both packs." I added, bracing myself for his reaction. "You are MY wolf's Luna." he growled lowly, the close proximity making it impossible for him to be more angry. "Just your wolf's?" I asked. He glared at me for a moment. "Yes. Don't think it is anything more than a primal bond that makes you the ideal fuck mate and a desire for your physical closeness" he bit back. I swallowed the hurt "I have been performing Luna duties for your brother. It is unfair to his pack for me to leave without naming a proper replacement. They accepted me when I was fearful no one else would." I said, my emotions starting to get the best of me. Being only part wolf can be... challenging. I belong in neither the lycanthropic nor the witchcraft world nor the vampiric which often made all of them reject me. I only had my adoptive father and Uncle. Aside from Seb, that was the only family I had. Sebastian and his pack did not. As if Theo could sense my shift in emotion I could literally feel his own angst dissipate. I inhaled his masculine scent, letting it calm me. I could feel him restraining himself. I relished his touch, knowing it was going to be an uphill battle. He didn't have a Luna, never wanted one. "Do you want me here?" I asked. "No, but my wolf would never rest if you were not, so by my side is where you will stay." He said. "Gee thanks" I retorted, ripping myself away from him. "You better get used to it kitten, you are only here so my wolf does not go mad" he said, visibly creating these emotional barriers between us. "Plus, now that I found that nice little ass of yours my cock literally won't get hard for another woman, so remember what duties you will be having to perform for me, Luna" he added coldly, smirking. I chuckled at his answer. I forgot it was literally impossible for a mate to cheat. The goddess was funny like that. I would break him down, even if it was the last thing I did. "You will not touch me until you prove deserving to do so, hope you like cold showers Theo." I said, leveling him with my eyes. His smirk fell. 

"I want to create a space for us, not invade and move into yours" I said suddenly. I knew I would feel like a stranger, but moving into a historic building on pack land would only make me feel more like an outsider. "As it turns out, my personal castle just completed the last leg of construction. You can decorate it." he answered, accepting the change of topic with stride. What perfect timing. "Are you sure?" I asked shyly, gazing up at him through my eyelashes. "Please, you'd be doing me a favor" his face softened at my sudden shyness. "At least you'd be fucking useful" he added, clearly not wanting to be too sweet. I looked up, giving my extra sweet doe eyes. "I think you will rather like having me around, not just your wolf" I said sweetly, lessening the space between and tangling a hand into his soft hair. I could sense his wolf relishing in the touch of his mate. "What are you doing?" He asked, almost scared, refusing to look at me. "Vivianna" Sebastian called as he entered the room, earning a vicious "MINE" growl from Theo, he quickly shuffled me behind him, positioning himself between me and the thing that threatened to take his mate. I placed a hand on Theo's tense shoulders, goddess he was muscular. He relaxed into my touch, and as if he realized what he was doing his impassive demeanor returned. I walked out to Sebastian's car, Theo opened my door for me and blocked my path from entering the vehicle. "I will be back, I promise. If you send me some swatches I can have everything picked out and delivered for when I arrive tomorrow." I said kindly as I coaxed him out of my way, gently rubbing his abs and delicately moving him. I had to focus really hard. His abs were drool worthy. Maybe this whole not letting him touch me until he earned it will be just as difficult for me. "You will return, or I will find you kitten and I will burn everything on my way to you." He warned. I smiled. Even if he was not willing to admit it, he needed me. I knew the legends of the mates who were ripped away from their other half. He would not be able to rebel from his nature for too long, but then again he is the strongest wolf in the world, how much was I supposed to take?
