Moving Day

Vivianna POV

We drove in silence back to Sebastian's pack lands. I emailed movers on our way so that my room would be packed up and ready to go once I arrived. I scheduled it to be transported to the new castle Theo is having built. Theo sent me the swatches as promised. I selected a black, olive green, and crème pallet. I suppose I will have to wait and see if he approved of it. He sent me the link for his preferred furniture provider, and I ordered all the furniture we would need. A part of me was secretly excited to get closer to Theo, my heart ached already being away from him. That damn mate bond. We finally arrived at my former home, I am gonna miss being able to go here every day. I looked over the familiar building, allowing myself to be comforted. I stepped out and inhaled the fresh oak trees. I turned to an admiring Sebastian, "I am gonna miss you Viv" he said softly, taking me into his arms. He held me while I let the day sink in. My best friend confessed his love for me, his brother is my mate, I was attacked by a rogue, my mate does not want me, I intervened for another pack's Alpha, and I am now moving away from my best friend. "It is gonna be okay Seb, we still have each other. Our friendship is not going anywhere." I promised. "What if we combined Pack Houses? The territories are so close and the new castle is literally on the border?" Sebastian offered, was it too selfish to want them both? "Is that what you would want?" I questioned. "Of course, I just wanna be near you. I'm not ready to give you up" he replied softly. "Then we will make it so," I murmured before untangling myself. I notified a now very angry Theo that the brother who was in love with his mate would be moving in, but I let him know that the alternative would be him having a very lonely wolf. His lack of response I took as an affirmation. He gave me full reign of decorating. I think it was a way that was acceptable in his brain to make me feel welcome. News travelled fast through our pack, the Beta and some of our best fighters would take over the old Pack House. They actually felt better, it seemed a move of further alliance between the two packs, the bond has always been strong, but this almost seemed to magnify the connection. The movers trucks were out front, finishing up taking my stuff out. I asked them to add the rest of the house. I went and found Sebastian, he was staring at his now empty room. "Hey sweetness" he said, detecting my presence. "Hi, I am gonna drive to our new home. You should leave soon as well" I responded. I went to grab my black Land Rover and started driving towards Theo's new castle. I let my mind wander, I had a lot to think about. Did I make a mistake by letting Seb come with me? Was it cruel to make him watch me inevitably fall for his brother, I mean how could I not? His brother is my MATE. I took calming breathes, annoyed that the person I wanted most to calm me down was one that I just met and didn't want me. I may not have to wait, I arrived to his castle, he was pacing outside. "You said you would be here thirty minutes ago! What if something happened to you?" Theo boomed as I stepped out of the car, he was in my face in an instant. He inhaled deeply, taking in my scent. He did a once over before reluctantly releasing me from his scrutiny. "You know I am going to live here now right? You will literally be seeing me all the time" I reminded him. "I mean, I don't care. It was for my wolf anyways" He scoffed. I giggled and watched him physically melt and subconsciously put me into his arms. As if he realized he was starting to be semi-sweet, he abruptly released me and started walking off. "Can you show me around please" I called. He stopped without saying anything, but indicated he was waiting for me to catch up. I stepped to him and he continued without speaking, taking my bag from me. A gentleman, even if he didn't want to be. He showed me the new house, it was beautiful. The technology in the house was unreal, all in all there were 3 floors. The first floor had a conference room, three offices (one for Theo, myself, and I suppose Seb), 2 bathrooms, and a breakroom. I wondered who would have originally occupied those offices, feeling bad for if I kicked someone out. The second floor had 3 bedrooms (Sebastian would stay on this floor), 2 bathrooms, a library, another office now for Seb, a kitchen, and a gym. The third floor had 4 bedrooms (Theo and I would stay in the bedrooms up here or so I assumed), 3 bathrooms, a library, a gym, a kitchen, 2 offices, and a game room/home theater. I loved this place. I could see Theo unwittingly eyeing me adoringly when he didn't think I could see him. It was darling and I couldn't wait to decorate it. The movers had put all of the furniture I ordered in the proper rooms, I needed to use magic to adjust them. Clearly having something sent to Alpha Theo's house meant immediate transportation. "Motus" I murmured. The furniture moved to the perfect place. Theo looked at me incredulously, maybe even with a little bit of awe. "I always loved magic up close" he whispered, inching closer to me. I beamed up at him, "Are you hungry, Theo?" I asked, testing his name on my tongue and deciding immediately I liked it. He growled lowly. He moved some hair out of my face, rubbing my cheek with his thumb. I hummed approvingly, the sparks his hand left on me were so pleasant. I would have been content staying there in that moment forever. "I can make you some chicken parm?" I offered, still in a bit of a trance. "I'm not hungry for food" he growled before he spanked and greedily grabbed my ass, pulling me impossibly closer. I managed a little yelp, as I was pulled against him... feeling every impressive inch of him. I felt like I was being suffocated by pleasure. "Theo" I murmured, I could feel my cheeks heating up. I wasn't exactly experienced in this department. "Oh is my wolf's Luna a little shy" he mocked, gently biting the blush on my cheek. I giggled, but the feeling of his lips and gentle bite made them glow brighter I'm sure. "Chicken parm is fine. I will eat it in my office" he scoffed, releasing me like it suddenly disgusted him to touch me. I felt suddenly empty and embarrassed. I couldn't allow him to play with me like that. He could not have access to my body whenever he felt like it. Although there was a part of me that loved he could not perform for other women, it made me sad that he would only choose me out of a lack of other options. I mind linked Seb, hungry? I'm making chicken parm. I patiently waited for his response as I got started. Sounds lovely Viv, the Beta will stay on the same level as me he responded, knowing I'd wanna make Lucas? some. I think that was his name. I smiled at how well he knew me, silently wondering why he wasn't my mate. He wanted me, knew me, loved me. I was lost in thought that I didn't realize my muscles moved from memory and the food was done. I levitated the plates and magicked them to follow me. I knocked on Theo's door. He purposefully took his time before opening the door. I smiled anyway, "Dinner is ready" I smiled. He eyed the number of plates, a little perplexed. "I made some for your Beta as well. I figured he'd be hungry" I said, explaining. He stood there for a moment. "Anyways, I have more deliveries to go, here's your dinner, Alpha" I added after he didn't say anything. I went to turn around, but was stopped by his sweet voice. "Theo" he practically whispered, taking the plate. "Pardon?" I questioned, turning to face him. "If you are gonna take care of my pack members... just call me Theo. It makes my wolf uneasy when his Luna uses the formalities" he admitted. I noticed he always said his wolf's Luna... not his, a subtle reminder his human side didn't want me. I smiled regardless, intentionally getting closer than necessary. "Enjoy, Theo" I purred, progress was progress even if it was with his wolf. He stilled, before he could overcompensate with something mean I turned and walked away, the plates following me obediently. There was something so sad behind his eyes. I would break those walls down, even if it broke me first.
