Livia was busy today and so I decided to tour the garden by myself. It was nice being out in the sun surrounded by flowers. We had dinner last night and I was able to learn a lot more about Gian. Livia took him in when she found him on the streets. She left New York and came back to Spain. She felt like it was destiny that she did because she was able to meet him. She said that she always wanted more children but was unable to. She described it as a blessing from God. I picked a sunflower that was growing nearby. I loved Sunflowers so much and I never knew why. I picked them as my favorite flower when I was a kid and it stuck with me throughout my life. I inhaled its fresh scent and sighed. Vain and I still haven't talked since the last time that we had a conversation. He keeps his distance and spends a lot of time with his father. I don't let it bother me as much anymore. I used to get upset about it but now I don't. It was not worth upsetting myself or the baby over because it was something that I couldn't change. Vain was going to be Vain. He always was and always would be. I didn't understand him at all. One minute he loved me and the next minute he didn't. I hated going through these up and down emotions with him. I could only hope that once the baby was born, he would come around and be more of a family with me.

"It's very relaxing out here."

I turned around quickly and smiled at Gian. He was always finding a way to creep up on me. "Yes, it is. I thought that it would be nice to take a walk out here."

He smirked, "I don't blame you. How are you doing today? Are you enjoying your trip here so far?"

I shrugged, "I'm okay. I love it here. It's peaceful and there are so many things to do. I haven't gotten to explore like I want to but it seems fun."

"Let me guess, my brother has been too busy to take you around?"

I nodded my head slowly, "maybe next time he will."

He waved his hand, "no. How about we go right now. I'm free for the day and so are you. I wouldn't mind taking you around. You can buy whatever you want...my treat."

I stared at him in shock. Was he really willing to do that? It seemed like a big gesture and I wasn't sure if I should. "I don't know...I would love to but."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the house. "But nothing. Let me treat you to a day of fun. I really don't mind, Athena."

I didn't know if this was a good idea or not but I wanted to get out of the house. I wanted to see the city and if Vain wouldn't take me then I would go with Gian. I smiled and allowed him to pull me into the house quickly. He told me that he was going to grab his car keys and he would meet me in front of the house. I watched him walk towards the stairs quickly and I couldn't help but feel excited. This was going to be fun and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I walked towards the front door quickly. I didn't want to keep him waiting. When I pulled open the front door he was sitting in a sexy white Jeep. He rolled down the window and waved me over and I didn't think twice. I walked towards the car and climbed in.
