It has been a month since we left the hospital. I'm healed from having Alonzo for the most part. I'm not in a lot of pain anymore and I'm learning a lot about being a mom. Kari was excited to meet him and she has been over every day. She loves her little nephew so much. She has helped me a lot when Satoni is working or can't come home. I'll forever be grateful to her for that. Alonzo is the sweetest baby boy. He sleeps a lot and loves to eat.

I sighed and looked down at my swollen boobs, it was time to pump again. Everyone loved Alonzo. My brother got the opportunity to meet him when I came home from the hospital. He said that there was something that he wanted to talk to me about but he said it could wait. He didn't want to tell me until I was fully healed. Today, he was supposed to be coming over and I was excited about it. I missed him and I was eager to hear what he had to say. The doorbell rang and I rushed to answer the door. I felt my nerves go through the roof but I told myself to stay calm. I pulled open the door and smiled at my brother. He pulled me into a bear hug and I laughed. It was always nice to see him when I could. I never thought that we would be living apart from each other. We walked into the living room and I sat on the couch quickly.
