Everybody had announced their schools. Damarion was last.
He sat in the seat with recruits on each side of him. The was the happiest yet saddest moment of my life.
Damien started crying.
I grabbed his bottle. "Can you hold Dominic?" I asked Brandy she grabbed him.
"Thanks."
I started feeding him and rocking him.
Mario mouthed "what's wrong."
"He okay." I said back. He nodded. I rocked him and put his blanket on him. I really need Mario but I need him to follow his dreams more.
"You ready?" They asked him.
He nodded.
All the schools said their names and offers. They really wanted him.
"Damarion?" They called him.
"Thank y'all for coming to celebrate my day. I couldn't have made it this far without my mama and sister and my beautiful wife holding down the fort at home.
I've made a lot of mistakes in life but today won't be one of those.
Thank you to every school that took the time to come out and see me play, that offered me amazing opportunities, and for believing in me I'm forever grateful."
He locked eyes with me.
"I would like to proudly announce I am now a Buckeye!" He said.
People started screaming and cheering.
The Ohio State coach walked up and hugged him. "You just don't know son you will have the best experience here.
We promise to take care of you and your family." He said.
I clapped for him.
"I love you baby." I said.
"I love you too my queen." They all was taking pictures. "You good?" Brandy asked. "Yeah." I said trying to keep it together.
"He's okay." She said.
"I know. I'm just so proud of him." I said.
She rubbed my leg.
"Come up here." He told me. "I'm okay baby." "Man come here." I grabbed my boys and walked on stage.
Robyn followed.
He grabbed Damien and held my waist.
I put stink between us as we took photos. "I'm proud of you daddy." He kissed her cheek. "Thanks baby girl."
"No problem."
We finished up with the family. He signed his papers and talked to his coach.
"You ready?" I asked Brandy.
"You not gone wait on him?" She asked. "He drove here. We meeting him at this restaurant."
"Oh okay." She said.
Brooke and Jess grabbed the boys car seat. "So y'all back coo?" Brooke asked.
"I don't know yet. I feel like it's still some ill intentions behind this shit but if this the way I gotta treat her to make sure my family secure than I will."
"That's my girl." Jess said.
We all laughed.
Robyn got in the middle and they put the boys on each side of her.
