[Samantha's POV]
"Cathy, I'm going out first, I have to pick Ivy from the airport. Just call me if you need anything okay?" I said to my assistant while putting away my apron and hair net. I manage my own coffee shop. It's not that big but it's something I can call mine.
Ivy is my bestfriend. We've been friends since college. But 2 years after college, she went to California to work. And now she's on vacation so I'm going to pick her up.
While driving, my phone rings... Some by Soyou & Junggigo. I answered it and Ivy's loud voice fills the car as I have my phone connected with my car stereo for hands free phone calls. Thanks to modern technology!
"Hey bru! Where are you? I'm here already. We arrived earlier than expected" Ivy said excitedly. "Bru" that's our term of endearment for each other.
"Oh, that's good I just got here too. Just wait outside the arrival area and I'll pick you up there, okay?"
"Okay bru! I'm so excited to see you! We have a lot of catching up to do!" she said
"Hahaha! Yeah! I missed you bru!" I said smiling.

After I picked her up, we decided to have dinner first in a restaurant nearby.
"So, how are you??? Anything new? Love life?" she asked while picking on her pasta.
"I'm fine. Same old same old. How about you?"
"Ei... I don't believe it! Right guy still hasn't come along? Are you sure you're not being too picky?"
"No. Really! Guys don't even show romantic interests with me." I shrugged
"Hmm... But why? You're beautiful, nice, smart, you have your own business... you're a good catch!"
"I don't know! Don't stress yourself about my lovelife okay! Hahaha! Anyway, how about you? What's keeping you busy these days? It's been a while since we last skyped." I changed the topic and hoping she'll just it go.
"Aha! You're changing the topic huh! Hmm... I'll let it go... for now. But we really have to do something about that. Well, as for me, I'm with someone. His name is Lance. He's from Hong Kong. We met at work and as of now we're together for 6 months already. " As she said that, I saw her eyes twinkling and a little blush crept up her cheeks.
"Wow! I'm so happy for you bru! So when will I be able to meet him?" I'm really happy for her. At least one of us is getting somewhere in the love department.
"Well, he'll be coming here too after five days. OMG!!! Bru, now I suddenly miss him. You really have to meet him. He's the best! He's......" I smiled while listening to her talk all about the guy. I knew it... She's in love!

And now, Lance's arrival day finally comes. We're at the airport waiting for him. When suddenly, Ivy went running towards the door, there I saw a tall man walking towards the exit door while pulling his luggage. Then Ivy flung herself to him, and they hug each other. I slowly walk towards them, not wanting to interrupt.
After all the hugging, that's when Ivy remembered me standing behind them.
"Oh, Sam, this is Lance, my boyfriend. Lance, this is Sam, my bestfriend."
"Hi Sam, nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too, Lance!" then we shook hands.

"So, where to?" I asked them. We're already in the car
"Let's just go home Sam. Mom prepared dinner for us." Ivy replied.
"Yey! I miss your mom's cooking!" I smiled. Then I turn on the stereo, the sound of G.Soul's soulful voice fills the car.

"Bru, you're still into kpop?" Ivy asked me wide eyed.
"Yes. Why? Anything wrong with that?" I laughed when I saw her face. Even before she doesn't understand my love for kpop or anything Korean related.
"I think I already know why you're still single."
"Hey! Don't blame kpop for me being still single. Actually, that's my stress reliever. It helps me in many ways you'll never know." I replied while singing along with the song.
"Oh, so you love kpop, Sam?" Lance asked
"Uhmm... yeah... not just kpop, I love watching korean dramas too. I love Korea! I can go there again and again without getting tired of the place. It's just so beautiful to me. Ivy even went with me once and she loved it... specially shopping"
"Right. I miss shopping at Myeongdong" she said dreamily.
"Don't worry I'll take you there sometime. And we'll bring Sam along too. Actually, I have a friend who's working there. Maybe we could meet him when we go there. It's been a while since we last seen each other."
Hearing of us going to Korea got me excited.
"Really? When? So I can find a seat sale." I said excitedly
"Ei, we just got here. Let us enjoy Philippines first. It's more fun in the Philippines, right?" Ivy said comically.
"Right! Since it's Lance's first time here, we have to show him the beauty of Philippines. So where do you plan to go?
"We're planning to go to Bohol, then Boracay, then Palawan" Ivy replied
"Wow! Beaches! Nice! After that people will not recognize you anymore coz you'll be super tanned already." I laughed
"Bru, you're coming with us right?" Ivy asked me
"Bru, as much as I want to, I can't. I have a coffee shop to run." I replied
"Oh... you really can't? Even if in Bohol only? Ivy showing me her puppy-dog eyes
"Okay, Okay! I'll go, but Bohol only. After that I'll be coming back." Then I saw Ivy grinning from ear to ear.
"Hahaha! No one can resist that puppy-dog eyes." Lance laughed
"Yeah! She knows that and she's always using it to her advantage."I replied
