After his meeting with Njord, Loki had been returned to his rooms and finally unchained.
Loki stalked around his rooms like a caged panther, waiting for something to happen.
His guards watched him only their eyes moving, except for when they changed out the guards every few hours.
He had tried talking to them when he had first been brought in, but his silver tongue had failed him, they never so much acknowledged him other than crossing their spears if he approached the door.
Unable to get a reaction from the guards, Loki threw himself down across his couch and conjured a book and tried to focus on the words across the page.
The guards all jolted as if something had lightly shocked them and then the doors swung open and the fiery red headed warrior strode.
She merely gave a curt nod of her head and the guards all bowed to her and left the room, leaving her alone with him.
She watched him unsmiling, her arms at her side in a relaxed manner.
He hadn't got much of a look at her till he had taken off her healm, with her height and her build he had originally assumed her to be a man.
Loki couldn't help himself he stalked forward and circled her, studying her, her features were noble and bold apart from the faint bruising across one of her cheeks and the cracked peeling skin on her lower lip, she was far from the soft effeminate women he had come to expect from Vanahiem, her brown eyes, the same shade as a Midgardian Cognac in a glass when it was held up to the light, held a certain contempt for him as she watched him circling her, most women would have long since looked away from him, instead she held his gaze lifting her chin, her hair was truly a thing of beauty, long coppery red locks she clearly took great care in maintaining, he let his gaze drift down at her body again, it was hard to tell if under all her armor if she was slimmer than she appeared.
He decided she wasn't quite pretty enough to be called a great beauty, but she was certainly striking, unique enough she would catch most men's eyes.
"Well, are you just going to keep standing there?"
He reached out and caught a few strands of her hair and let them softly slip thru his long fingers, leaning in ever so slightly, inhaling the faint scent of orange blossoms.
"Are you going to keep circling me like a wild beast?"
A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he turned his back to her and strode back to his couch, he reclined taking up as much space as possible, with one arm stretched out across the back of the couch, the resting on his knee.
"I was merely getting a closer look at you to confirm something darling."
Ciannait took in his position, Loki's legs were spread wide, giving her a generous view of his long limbs, he was handsome she could admit that, all sharp cheek bones, dark hair, intense green eyes that glittered with mischief, he was slimmer than his brother, but given the stretch of his tight leather pants, she suspected underneath he was anything but slim, his tongue darted over his thin pink lips before he smirked at her, it was all meant to seduce her, does he really think I would fall that easily?
"Did I pass your muster?"
He smirked at her, he wondered if underneath her mask of indifferent boredom he had actually gotten under her skin.
"Lets go."
"Go where? I am quite comfortable here," His gaze raked over her body before flicking back up to her face, "You could also take off that armor and get comfortable as well."
