"Today is the day, baby! Let's go!" Madison heard Rook shouting from downstairs. She quickly put down her phone and got up from her bed to see what was going on. Once she spotted Rook, he came running over to her and lifted her small frame into the air and spun her around in a circle.
"Rookie, what is going on?" Madison asked him with a confused expression on her face as she turned her head to glance at her brother who seemed to be just as excited as Rook was, if not a little more excited.
"We are recording an amazing song today and shooting a music video. This is gonna be huge!" Rook explained, Madison finally understanding all of the excitement. She was finally placed back onto her feet and released from Rooks bear hug.
"And we want you to come with and be involved with it. Take some photos, be in the music video." Colson explained, Madison's eyes instantly going wide in fear. She wasn't exactly comfortable being on camera. The idea alone making her sick to her stomach. She quickly shook her head, her wide eyes going back and forth between Colson and Rook.
"I don't know about this. I will take some photos, sure. But i don't know if I can be in the video." She was beginning to feel a small amount of anxiety. She didn't want to be in it but she also didn't want to let the boys down who clearly wanted her to enjoy this moment with them.
"Hey, you don't have to be in it if you don't want to. You can just be there with us. What matters most, is that you are there." Colson told her before pulling his little sister in for a hug to try and calm her nerves. She gave a swift nod before she let out a light laugh when she heard Rook speak up.
"We can smoke a blunt before the video if that will help you." He was obviously joking but she pulled away from Colson to shove Rook away. She rolled her eyes to the back of her head playfully before she left them both to go get ready to head to the studio with them.
On the way there, she found herself wondering who the mystery person was that was recording with them. Colson still refused to tell her and Rook wasn't much help either. It was beginning to drive her insane. She couldn't stop thinking about it.
Madison: my brother still won't tell me who the artist is >:(
Dom: oh no, there's the angry face again.
Dom: im sure he just wants you to be surprised, love.
Madison: what if i finally get to meet someone i love and can't even fucking say hello to them because i am so nervous.
Dom: then that would be fucking hilarious.
Madison: you're absolutely fantastic at pep talks, thank you for that.
Dom: anytime, love ! good luck.
Madison placed her phone into her pocket once they reached the studio, her hands shaking and beginning to sweat. She climbed out of the car with the boys and went inside to finally see who was there and why it had to be such a secret.
Dom was already there, spinning in a chair while he waited for Machine Gun Kelly. He had no clue who this guy was or what he even looked like. All he knew was the songs he had heard by him on his way here. He felt nervous but confident in what he wrote at the same time.
He spun around in his chair to face the door when a tall, lanky, blonde came into the room, Dom immediately getting up to his feet to greet him. "Yo, you must be yungblud?" Colson asked even though it was kind of obvious since he was the only one there and Colson had never met him before.
"That's me. You must be Machine Gun Kelly? That's a fooking mouthfull." Dom was laughing more at himself than at Colson's stage name. Colson just laughed along before he remembered Madison who had stepped away to use the restroom before they got started.
"So, listen. My little sister is a huge fan of yours. Like practically fucking obsessed and drives us all insane playing your music. She's actually here with us and i was wondering if you could surprise her." Dom couldn't help but laugh, his heart swelling at the thought of meeting one of his fans.
"Oh, absolutely. Where is she?" Dom flashed a bright smile when Colson told him before he quickly got up and stepped into the booth before ducking down so he would be hidden from her view when she came in. He waited for about five minutes before he heard her coming inside.
"Hey, M. Can you help us carry our instruments into the booth, please?" Madison gave Rook a confused look before she nodded and picked up her brothers guitar and made her way into the booth. Before she had a chance to put it down, she felt a hand reach out and grab her ankle.
She dropped the guitar and let out an ear piercing scream before she whipped around to face the stranger, ready to kick him in his teeth for nearly making her have a heart attack. Her eyes went wide like balloons, her lips slowly parting in shock as she saw the boy who's music helped her so much getting up to his feet, laughing like a hyena.
She ignored the other boys who were about to piss themselves and took a moment to register what was going on. "Holy shit, you're yungblud. Like, it's actually you." She couldn't believe what she was seeing and was mentally cussing Rook and Colson for keeping this from her.
"Yeah! Didn't mean ta' give you such a fright, love." He took a step closer to the girl and reached out to pull her in for a hug, both of them completely oblivious to the connection they both shared through text.
"I almost kicked you in the face! Oh my god." She mumbled breathlessly as she returned the hug and felt absolute comfort in his arms. Once she pulled away, their attention was grabbed and it was time to start recording the song before they had to go to the location for the video.
