𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒅 in your apartment, you were sunk into your couch as your small TV played a movie that you started watching half way through because nothing else was on that was good. Today was your first day off from work in a long time and you were taking in the relaxment of not having to make noodles and take orders for people.

You took a large spoonful of your ice cream and ate it, the cold flavor making your teeth clatter at the feeling. You sat in sweatpants and an oversized high school t-shirt you got at a thrift store nearby. You had no clue where the high school even was but that didn't stop you from picking it up simply because the design was cool.

When you wore it you couldn't help but feel nostalgic from your short high school experience. You dropped out your junior year and never looked back, though you missed your friends. Whether it was sitting at the lunch table with them, going to a football game, or even just sitting at one another's lockers and talking.

But after you dropped out all your friends dropped you, you hadn't heard from them in two years and they're most likely in college now trying to live their lives as the ones they wanted. But you couldn't live out your dream- which was becoming a doctor and helping people. But you lost hope at your dream a long time ago and now when you think about it you only shrug it off.

You don't exactly regret dropping out of high school- your reason was valid in your head at the time. Sure you would like a highschool diploma but why would an eighteen year old go back to high school after dropping out? It sounded like a waste to you.

The movie you were watching on TV seemed to get more interesting by the minute though you didn't fully understand what was going on. But you knew it was a love story between a troubled girl and a troubled boy, they were both trying to prove they could be right for each other even with their sins.

You slowly brought your spoon up to your mouth to take a bite as your attention was fully brought to the TV in front of you. But you were brought out of your zone when your phone lit up with a notification. You couldn't help but groan at the vibration that lingered through the couch.

You set down your ice cream bowl on your small coffee table in front of your couch and pick up your phone, whipping the corners of your mouth with the back of your palm in the process. You looked at the notification and saw the name "Armin Alert" Plastered on the screen. You furrowed your eyebrows and unlocked your phone going to your messages.

Armin Alert.

Hey Y/n! We have fights tonight! They start at 9:30pm, I'll venmo you money for the train, see you soon!

You groaned at the message, it was your first day off in a while from the noodle shop and now you have to go be a ring girl for lord knows how long? The thought made you want to just say you don't want the job and keep eating your ice cream.

Armin Alert.

Also, you will be earning around 1,000 tonight. Since there are ten fights.

Your eyes widened at the large number, one thousand dollars for flaunting your body a bit and holding up a sign? You quickly responded to Armin with a simple 'Sounds good!' and set your phone down. You looked at the clock on the wall behind your TV and saw the time read 7:34.

You quickly realized that you needed to be at the arena by 8:30pm and your train ride was at least 45 minutes long not to mention if you wanted to look good for your first time you had to get ready at the arena or in other words the ring girl locker rooms. You shot up from your couch and grabbed your ice cream bowl.

You quickly slid the bowl on your kitchen counter and jogged to your room. You entered your room and grabbed your backpack off the floor emptying everything in the bag that you wouldn't be needing. You snatched your charger from your bed and scattered to grab your makeup bag. You looked in the body length mirror on your wall and saw how messy you looked.
