Keli's POV

Me and Trevor walked up the street. I looked over at him.

"What are we going to do for the next two days?" I asked him. He smiled over at me.

"Want to go back to the club?" I laughed.

"No thank you."

"We could run down to the store and get a bottle of wine and have our own party." I stopped him.

"Your going to turn me into an alcoholic." I said. He crossed his arms and scoffed.

"Your no fun." We laughed as we made it to my front porch. I unlocked the front door and we went outside. Trevor plopped down on the couch.

"I can see if the guys want to meet you tomorrow." He said. I picked up Clive and petted him.

"Don't they have to work from like eight am to seven pm or something?"

"Tomorrow they have a half day. I think, nine to three."

"That sounds cool. By the way, what the hell is up with that store? They have the weirdest hours ever." Trevor laughed.

"The people in this town need money, so everyone works weird hours."

"And no one wants to work at night?" He nodded. "We're bringing in the real dough here." He laughed. I smiled and set Clive down. After I slipped off my shoes, I made my way down the hall to the kitchen.

"What should we have for dinner?" I asked myself. Trevor came I to the kitchen.

"What do you want for dinner?" I asked him. He shrugged. "Thanks, helps a lot." We laughed.

"How about spaghetti?" He nodded.

"Sure, can I help?"

"Well, if you don't make it, your not eating it." He chuckled.

*********

I grabbed our plates and set them in the sink.

"Now, what?" I asked him. He smiled and got up.

"I'm tired of looking at all those boxes.. Unpacking time!" I giggled.

"Fine mom, fine." We laughed. "First let me go take the trash out, will you put a new one in for me?" I asked. He nodded and got a trash bag off the counter. I grabbed the bag and headed to the door.

I set the bag in the trash can outside and was just about to go back in, when someone ran into me. I fell on the ground and groaned.

"Oh, my gosh! I'm so sorry! Here let me help you." They reached out a hand which I gladly took and pulled me up. The darkness only made it harder to see their face.

"Thanks." I smiled shyly. I watched as they tilted their head to the side.

"Your Keli, right? Keli, um, Peterson?" They asked.

"Yes. You are?" They pulled down their hood. I awkwardly scratched my neck.

"Um, Justin, right?" He smiled, this time showing all his teeth. Perfectly white.

"Yeah. Listen I've been wanting to talk to you. I think we kinda got off on the wrong foot." I crossed my arm, trying to keep myself warm.

"It's not like we didn't, but you don't seem like the kinda guy who doesn't come off like that." Gosh, Keli. That kinda sounded rude. He chuckled.

"People in this town think the same, don't worry." I smiled.

"So, do you live in this neighborhood?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"No, I live across town." I nodded. Justin smiled at me.

"I'll let you get back inside, Keli. It's pretty cold out here." I smiled at him.

"Have a nice night, Justin. I'll see ya around." He nodded. I walked back up on the porch and waved to him. He waved back and continued to walk back down the street. I went back inside and locked the door.

"Who takes a damn half in hour to take out the trash?" Trevor asked as he grabbed one of my boxes off the floor. I laughed.

"Sorry, I was talking to someone." He nodded and opened a box.
