The chaotic trio had returned back to the Akatsuki lair with their target. But before they had gone back, Deidara had sent off the medic back to her small village. Giving her a little scare by saying, "If you dare utter a word about where we're going. I won't hesitate to come back where you are and finish you off, understand?"
Kakashi felt bad when she squeaked in fright and nodded frantically before running back to her village. "Maa, there's no need to frighten that poor girl even more. I'm sure without you threatening her she wouldn't have uttered a single word about us."
Deidara scoffs and waves Kakashi's words off. "Hmph, where's the fun in that. Even if she won't utter a word, it's still fun scaring people like this."
Kakashi huffs at the memory as he watches Deidara roughly push the debtor in the direction where Pein is.
"Yatta~ We're finally back. Ne Kashi, are you hungry? Tobi could use his amazing skills to help cook food for you."
Kakashi didn't get a chance in giving his answer, as Tobi began dragging him towards the kitchen. "C-Chotto matte! I hadn't said about wanting to eat anything!"
"Too bad~ Tobi just wants Kashi to eat more because Kashi looks way too skinny."
"I'm not that skinny! Tobi!"
Obito ignores him and pulls him at the dining table, "Now, Kashi is gonna sit there while Tobi cooks for him."
Kakashi sighs and slides down on a chair. Hearing footsteps approaching from the entrance he looks up to see Itachi and Kisame right behind him.
"Kakashi-san?" Itachi walked towards the dining table and sat across Kakashi, who raised a hand in greeting.
"Yo, Itachi."
Kisame blanched once he immediately saw Tobi floundering around the kitchen to cook. "Oh no, why did you let Tobi decide to cook?!"
Kakashi sighs and points at Tobi, "Maa, he kept insisting to cook for me since, in his words 'Kashi looks too skinny'. He practically dragged me here even though I protested and then started to cook."
Itachi stares as his captain sulks in the chair, "Tobi-kun is correct Kakashi-san, you certainly are quite too skinny and need to eat more. However, Tobi actually can't cook at all, Kakashi-san so you might wanna prepare for either a rather painful ache in your abdomen or burnt sluggish food. "
Kakashi sweat drops and laughs nervously," Maa, you know what. I think I'm gonna go help out Tobi. That way he won't end up poisoning us with his cooking."
Geez, even after all these years Obito still couldn't cook even if his life depended on it. Now that I look back it was either me or Deidara who would cook our food during our mission.
When Kakashi approached behind Tobi, the latter's arms flailed panicky around when the stove's fire flared and roared wildly. Kakashi quickly turns the knob for the fire down to a more decent temperature to cook. He faces Tobi with his hand on his hips and looks judgingly at him.
"What the hell kind of missing-nin are you; not knowing how to cook at all?"
"A-Ano, well it's just Tobi... doesn't necessarily need to eat... " Obito softly mumbled out, where only Kakashi could hear his reason.
"Huh? Wha- Nevermind, tell me later. Just go sit with Itachi and Kisame and behave." Kakashi shoos Tobi away and turns towards the stove. He threw away the now burnt food and looked around in the fridge and cabinets for anything that's decent to cook up.
Meanwhile the occupants at the dining table were talking among themselves, Itachi seemingly praising Kakashi's cooking.
"You have no need to worry about Kakashi-san cooking. All the food he cooks is quite delicious Kisame-san."
