"No one's here," Chan mumbled to himself but loud enough for Hajun to hear. "But the van is here."

"Maybe she's sleeping." Hajun raised both his shoulders and stepped in.

"W-wait," he tried to stop the older but he just walked off. Chan sighed. He wondered how the man got that much bravery in him. Negative possibilities started to play in his mind. He was a bit afraid. When Junho told them the woman got sick when her daughter dies he immediately thought she has gone maniac. However he just followed Hajun and left the gate open.

The porch was dirty. There were too much dried leaves and leaked oil on the cement. The lamps are broken, tons of crack on the walls. Somehow Chan feels like they were in a haunted movie.

He approached Hajun who stood still in front of the door, examining it. "Do we knock?" he asked.

The man remained silent while peeking his eyes through a hole on the door. "It's dark, but there's light upstairs."

"Do you think this is a good idea?"

"No."

Then he twisted the door knob open, making Chan internally screamed.

"But she's the only one who knows where Minho is."

Right, for Jisung and Minho.

They stepped in as if they were thieves searching for golds. The lights upstairs was enough for them to see the messy living room. There's not much furniture. Just a couch and a coffee table. Even the dining room was empty.

The floor creaked as Hajun stepped on the first stair. Then they heard a door opening. Chan panicked but Hajun looked so calm, he pulled Chan to the side of the staircase, hiding themselves.

"Who is it?" A groggy female voice rang their ears. They heard footsteps going down and peeked their heads out only to see the woman went to the door. Hajun instantly got out from their hiding place and tapped her shoulder twice.

The woman screamed. She turned around and screamed louder in his face. "Who are you?! What are you doing in my house?! Intruder! Help there's someone breaking in-"

The lights turned on. The woman felt a dry napkin was pressed against her mouth, muffling her words and her back met the wall.

"Your voice irks me." The man sighed, "Just tell where Minho is and we let you go."

She shook her head rapidly, tearing up.

"Oh, Minho is the hybrid you kidnapped."

She suddenly stopped struggling, eyes narrowed.

"No," the word was faint but they could understand it. Hajun removed his hand.

"Why?"

"Hybrids are useless."

"Hybrids?" Chan repeated. "There's other hybrids than Minho?"

Hajun rolled his eyes. "What did he ever do to you?"

"They killed my daughter!" her voice stormed in the entire house. Both guys froze, shocked with the new information. "My daughter was killed by a wolf hybrid when she's joining a school camp. The hybrid was her own classmate." her shrill voice sent chills to their bones. "And you are still treating that one nicely?"

"What could a cat do though?" Chan fought. "A wolf and a cat is too much difference."

"And he's a hybrid!" she shouted. "He's a cat but in human form he could do anything! Hybrids are just useless, heartless animals they don't even deserve to live!" the woman cried.
