It seems like Minho had forgotten who he was. This was observed by the "lab assistant" that injected him the day before. The cat no longer fight back and didn't turn into human form when he had the chance to do so. But he could feel his body weakened as hours passed by.

The guy gave him another batch of food, which is the last one to gain his weight. The cat once again obeyed. They let him eat it on the table instead of the cage while working on some unknown liquids and paperwork.

"She's not picking up." the owner of the lab groaned. His lab assistant remained silent. "Should we just proceed to force him turn into his human form without waiting for her?"

The lab assistant, who had spectacles on nodded. "Hybrids are rarely founded these days. If we finish this research earlier than we planned we'll get the money soon. People are surely interested in this topic."

With silent agreement proceed to do their works. As soon as the cat finished his food they took the bowl and left. The door closed.

Minho immediately jumped off the table and ran to the window he had been observing for days. The window was high. It was impossible for him to reach it and escape.

There was a few broom sticks at the corner. He raised his paw and hit one but it did not budge. Later then he used he nose to push it off. He himself was not sure why he was trying to remove the broom stick.

Eventually it moved. Minho kept pushing it with his eyes closed. Without realising the stick leaned towards him. With one last push it fell above his body. Minho's pressed on the floor with his eyes widened, too shocked at the small accident. Along with that he let out a surprise, "MEOW!!"

The stick was above him. He crawled out and pushed it away. His small body felt hurt at the impact but he still walk to the other broom sticks. After observing the surrounding he found a pile of boxes behind them. Thanks to his small body, he managed to squeeze in and climbed the boxes. He made some noises but it could not be heard from the outside. Deep inside he hoped the two men will not return anytime soon. He pretended to forgot anything so that he could stay outside of the cage. If he was caught then it's the dead end.

Upon reaching the highest box he looked up. The window was still above him. He jumped on the stick which the end of it reached the window without thinking twice.

Poor boy, the broom stick swung around and fell. Before it could fully hit the floor Minho had already jumped off and walked a bit further to avoid the hitting.

A loud noise of it falling filled the room. Minho sighed in defeat as he sat in front of the fallen sticks, facing the window.

He laid on the floor with his chin touched the tiles. Day by day his hope wilt. There's no sign of Jisung or anyone trying to find him. It's been three days yet no one is able to find out where this lab is located. The next day would be the day they start the experiment.
