Waking up to an empty bed is the worst feeling ever. The air conditioner might have put him into a deep slumber and extra point of Jisung's hug but the moment he woke up that all felt like just a dream.

To say that did not hurt him was a lie. With heavy heart he made his way to the bathroom to take a quick bath and eat the cheese tarts afterwards. Even when he went down Jisung was nowhere to be seen. He only met his mother who was busy preparing food at the dining table. The woman noticed him and smiled, "Good morning Minho. Did you sleep well?"

Minho nodded while answering to her question. His eyes wandered around searching for the blonde until she spoke again, "Jisung is taking a short walk outside. He will come later."

He didn't even wake me up...

As if it is on cue the said male walked in. He greeted both people before going straight to the kitchen. Minho was lost, he did not know what he should do until his mother asked him to sit and have breakfast together. Jisung's father was already off to work while his mother would go later on in the afternoon. She took half day off to look after her one and only son.

Jisung sat next to Minho and helped him putting the food in the plate, "If you want more just tell me."

The cat boy nodded timidly. At least Jisung was not completely ignoring him.

After the breakfast the urge to watch a drama was really tempting. However Minho reminded himself that was not Jisung's apartment. The fact that there's two maids in the house made him more insecure to move around. Jisung was taking a shower in his room so he had no one to stick with at the moment.

Luckily his mother noticed him. "Minho, do you want to do anything? Watch some shows?" she offered.

Minho hesitantly shook his head with his bracket smile. "It's okay, I'm just going to wait for Jisung."

"Wait in the living room, honey. Let me turn on the television." she sent him a warm smile. He felt the same thing in his chest. Warm. The warmth of a mother. "Here's some snacks. Jisung won't be long in the shower."

The treatment she was giving was really heartwarming. Jisung was lucky to have a mother like her.

Soon after Jisung went down with his newly changed clothes and damp hair. His lips curled up when seeing Minho enjoying the tv show. Quietly, he approached him before laying his head on the boy's thighs. Minho flinched.

"You're wet!"

"My hair is." Jisung snickered.

"I mean— get off me!" he pushed the guy up. Jisung put a cushion on his lap before laying down again. His body faced the television, ignoring Minho's whines. "Sungie..."

The blonde let out a low sigh. He sat up straight and hugged the cushion, eyes not detaching from the screen. The night before he promised not to do anything that Minho disliked so he did not want to break it. Minho on the other hand felt a bit guilty for treating him like that.

He couldn't control his fluttering heart inside his chest. Throughout the show his mind flew around or maybe had left the house. His fingers couldn't stop fiddling onto one another to calm him down. He started to think that Jisung was getting annoyed by him.

Are we okay? he asked himself. The question was supposed to be pointed at Jisung but his voice won't come out.

Jisung's mother then appeared in her working outfits. She wore a beige cardigan on top of her white blouse, pairing with a pair of beige pants. When Minho looked at her it reminded him of the heroine in Vincenzo, one of his favourite dramas.
