*Authors Note*

I am so sorry this took so long to post! I've been busy with school and other writing projects and well... life in general. I'm going to start posting again cuz the entire story is finished anyway I just have to write it out but I know the entire timeline and outcomes.

In the future if you have requests for reveal ideas I'm open to writing alternate outcomes for the fun of it. So come up with some cool ones cuz I have 3 cannon outcomes currently that all fit into the story the same.

Mikey sat in his room, closed off from his brothers who were in the room beyond playing arcade games. It was their way of unwinding after tough missions and patrols. Mikey sighed stared at his ceiling, his thoughts were conflicting.

He had a plan, a plan to make everything better. Only thing was, his brothers were part of the problem. When he hung out with them now he just felt weird. Not only was he living a double life that involved attacking them, but he was also participating in black magic. Mikey wasn't a fool, whatever that stuff was wasn't natural.

"Yet I keep using it, perhaps I really am a fool."

"No, I can't think like that! That stuff is the only reason I've gotten this strong!"

"But is it really the best way to go about this?"

"When did my brothers take me seriously ?"

"I don't think they do now, even with my change in behavior."

"But you can't forget what Raph did."

"Raph has always been like that, maybe... he does love me."

"Raph doesn't love you."

"How do I know for sure?"

"Isn't it blatantly obvious? Raph only cares about himself, even Leo is fed up with it. Though that doesn't mean that they aren't ALL mad at you, none of your brothers love you like they should."

"Maybe it is true... either way If I want anything to get better I have to finish my plan."

Mikey stretched and stood up. His feet and legs were restless and he had to move around a bit so he paced his room. He thought about faze two of his plan and how he would go about it. Now that he had the street thugs muttering Nightshade in their nightmares, he need to re-create a system that got rid of hierarchy. No more mob bosses and gang leaders, crime would be subdued through fear and dominance. With Nightshade on top of course.

Though even Mikey knew that it would be impossible on his own. People driven to fear grew mad, and submission lead to rebelling. What he need was a system of a certain respect through fear, but in a way that people didn't feel trapped.

What he needed, was to recruit the current 'leaders' of the street, and make them work for him. He would use people's loyalty to them as a way to control general public, but control those leaders making them equal with other people. This made everyone just as authoritative to tell on another person so no one has a higher role.

Mikey paused a moment and realized that he had been pacing for quite awhile now, but still felt as anxious as he did before. He looked at the time and saw that it was 9:45pm (21:45) at the moment. It would be the perfect opportunity to get his plan into action. The only issue was, leaving in a way that wouldn't make his brothers suspicious.

Raph, Leo, and Donnie were playing their favorite pinball machine. They were trying to beat their high score and see who was the best. It was Raph's turn first, and he was in full concentration to ensure his victory. His score was 40,876 as of now, with only one life left.

"5,000 more points and you'll have the high score Raph!" Leo said encouragingly. After a little while longer, Raph managed another 6,000 points before losing the last ball.

"Yes!" Raph said excitedly, "47,205! New high score!"

The score flashed up on the dash with the other top 5 scores. However, his score was in the 2nd place slot, another score of 67,746 was on top.

"What? Who did that score?" Raph said confused and frustrated. "It's got to be a glitch, no one has ever gotten past 50,000 on any pinball game we have."

Mikey stood by his door and watched from a distance. "Oops."

Raph sighed and started the game back up again. "Raph it's my turn!" Leo said, wondering why was playing again. Raph gave him the stare,

"No one plays pinball again till I beat the top score! He said so seriously that when Casey and April walked in, they thought someone was fighting again. "It's fine April." Donnie said as they ran to the pinball machine. "It's just Raph getting way too invested in a game."

April rolled her eyes, but Casey defended Raph. "Pinball is more than just a game Don, it's a way of life... something you commit your heart and soul into... something that-" "Are you done yet?" April questioned. "If my memory serves me right we were supposed to go out patrolling for the night."

Raph lifted his head up quickly holding the pinball at the bottom momentarily. "I'm not going." He then continued to play. Leo seemed confused, and so did Donnie as they exchanged looks. "Why don't you want to go?" Leo asked as Raph kept looking toward the game. "It's so pointless, besides we've gone like five times this week. Give it a rest." As he said this he missed the ball and the game displayed 'Game Over' in red bold letters. "Besides," He continued, "It's not like I'll catch him."

---------------

Raph headed to his room. He had not been there In awhile. Most nights he passed out watching TV and the couch became his permanent sleeping quarters. That or he was out with Casey dealing with small crime here and there and sleeping on the roof. Being honest with himself, he sort of felt like he hadn't slept in weeks. Ever since Splinter died, Raph couldn't go one night without becoming so paranoid that he had to get up and walk around. Perhaps it's one of the reasons he ended up on the couch so often. He felt like he had to always be on watch. After all, he saw their Father die. He was there on the roof with April. The others may not understand like he did, but he knew their safety was in jeopardy at any given time. Now this psycho ninja was down their throats with this weird magic stuff.

Raph hated that. He hated magic and mutation as much as he was one, and all the different unnatural beings and power he knew existed in that universe. He hated not being in control, and fighting something that could manipulate the natural law. Something that Raph once thought he knew he could always rely on, now can be bent to someone else's will and used against them. Of course, April was different. Her powers even Raph could admit were a little unsettling at first, but knowing he can trust her it was nice to have their own force that could fight against this invisible threat.

But this new enemy Nightshade had some sort of force that he had never seen before. This weird crystal thing that could create jagged rocks that ensnare you or strange black vines that do the same.

Author again:

Sorry to cut this short but this has been sitting in the dust for almost two years now and I'm sick of just staring at this and never doing anything. Even the note I wrote was from like a year ago. So for the sake of this story we are taking things in a different direction. Everything you just read still happens but I'm not going to finish the thought or fix this chapter I'm just going to move on. I have better plot points to explain then Raph sulking.
