"Well, this should be interesting." Nightshade laughed as he watched a gang fight in a parking lot from the roof.
They were just a bunch of thugs knocking each other senseless, and Mikey wasn't sure what was more amusing. The fact that they were completely pathetic, or that they were about to be in for quite the surprise.
"I told these guys to cut it out, but I'll give it a few minutes. It's fairly entertaining." He said with a vile grin.
The men swung there fists and pulled out a few knives, but they were just getting bloodied up. No major injuries that a few stitches wouldn't fix. Thus, the cycle continued. Thugs would fight, get beat up, get fixed up, and fight again.
After some time, Mikey got bored. "Alright then, I think I've shown enough 'mercy'."
He jumped down from the roof, his Scythes in hand.

The T.V at the turtles base cut out of their program and went to the news channel.
"Aw! But that's the best part!" Casey complained due to their show being interrupted.
April shushed him. "It might be important."
It was as if the words were taken right out of her mouth, the news blasted the headline.
"SLAUGHTERING THUG FIGHT."
"Last night," A news man began, "What seemed to start as a territorial gang fight, tuned into a complete man slaughter. Five men or reported to be killed or missing. The injuries rang from knife wounds to gunshots. Eye witness reports claim that before the police were notified, a single entity known as the figure 'Nightshade' in the streets, had attacked this gang war. With the victims ranging from members of every gang, it has been ruled out that he was sided with any group. Some suggests that this means we could have a vigilante on our hands. Whatever the case, this has become a statement in the world of underground thugs and thieves, with many coming forward claiming this isn't the first time Nightshade has shown himself to these people. One man (anonymous) even making a remark, 'Nightshade has been threatening the gangs for awhile now, asserting dominance over the streets. And we ain't allowed to step outta line.' This now raises the question, Who's side is he on? And should we be afraid? This is O'Brian, signing off. Back to you Cla-"
Raph turned off the television, and sighed deeply as he sunk into his beanbag. "This is getting out of hand."
Casey, April, and the three of the four brother looked to one another. Mikey didn't say anything, he found it odd that the situation was covered as heavily as it was. Gang fights and death was common in New York, why were they making it a big deal? Then again, it was the news so he wasn't sure why he was surprised.
"Should we head out now?" Donnie suggested. "It's not super late yet, and another patrol wouldn't hurt."
Mikey rolled his eyes, "I thought we were watching the show, we've already gone out every day this week." He complained reaching for the remote.
Leo moved the remote away from Mikey's grasp, "People just died Mikey, I think that's more important."
Mikey just stared blankly at Leo, and then spoke again, "Not to sound unsympathetic, but they were thugs. If Nightshade didn't do it then they would have done it to themselves anyway. In the end its their own fault, why do we give them sympathy?"
Leo was almost taken aback by his brothers words. "Mikey, they are still people. You shouldn't kill them just because they made a mistake."
"Isn't that what we do in self defense?" Mikey questioned.
