Wonder

Chapter 9

We arrived at Lauren's house, she showed me around giving me basically a house tour. I set my belongings in the bedroom I will be staying, changing myself into some comfy clothes. I also met little Cleo, who was waiting for us at the front door. She was so cute.

Lauren's house, was beautiful. Describing perfectly her personality, I was perplexed by that. It was like if I was entering and seeing a new intimate side of Lauren Jauregui, and I couldn't be more grateful for that.

I smiled at Lauren who was sitting on the couch playing with Cleo, "what are you smiling at?" Lauren asked me with a little smile. "Nothing, just enjoying the view" I said bluntly making Lauren blush. We stared at each other, until Cleo barked claiming for her owner attention.

"Are you hungry?" I asked changing the topic. "Because I'm sure this little girl here is" I said petting Cleo's fur. Lauren giggle, nodding her head. Cleo barked happily as we petted her. "Wait here, I will order something to eat for us while I prepare her food" Lauren said standing up and disappearing from my sight.

I looked at Cleo, who was looking at me with her head tilted to one side. "It's just the two of us, buddy" I said petting her head. Cleo, got into my lap and settled herself comfortable. I brushed her fur with my fingers while going into my phone to snap a picture of this little cutie.

Once I had the perfect picture of her, I posted it on my Instagram tagging Lauren along. And writing 'Just the two of us' at the bottom of the publication.

A few minutes later I recieved a lot of likes, comments, and tags in the picture I just posted. And also, a comment from Lauren Instagram account.

Laurenjauregui: Don't steal my baby.

I clicked like, and laughed out loud. "She has preferences" I shout for Lauren to hear me. Lauren's head appeared from the kitchen glaring at me playfully, her phone in her ear ordering some food.

"Is sushi okay?" She mouthed, I nodded my head smiling. She nodded her head back at me and disappeared again.

I took the liberty to switch on the TV, and navigate through Netflix to put a series on. I was so focused searching that I didn't notice the sofa dip next to me. "How about Ratched?" I asked out loud looking at Lauren waiting for her answer. She nodded, making eye contact with me. I smiled widely at her answer.

"I was craving for some Sarah Paulson acting" I said excitedly. I love that woman, she always understands the task, not matter what she was playing. We got comfortable and played the episode 1.

When we were in the middle of the episode the doorbell was heard. "I will get it" I said to Lauren, picking some money to pay for the food. I opened the door, smiling at the young delivery guy.

"There you go ma'am. It will be a total of 20 dollars" I nodded my head, and handed him the money, picking the bag of food in my free hand.

"Excuse me?" He asked me with a hint of nerves in his voice.

"Yes?" I said confused. "Are you Y/N?" He said. I nodded my head with an smile, "that's me".

He widened his eyes, blushing. "Do you mind if I ask for a picture?" He asked shyly. I nodded my head, "let me put this bags inside" I said, rushing into the living room, where Lauren was waiting. I shot her an smile, setting the food in the small table, and walking towards the door again.

I soon heard Lauren behind me, "Wait, where are you going?" She asked me confused. I turned around looking at her. "The delivery guy is a fan of mines. He asked me for a photo" I said. She smiled at me, holding my hands on hers intertwining our fingers together.

We walked towards the front door, where the delivery guy was waiting patiently. When he looked at Lauren, his eyes widened even more and his jaw dropping to the floor. I laughed at his reaction.

"La-auren jau-regui?" He asked shocked shuttering his words. She nodded her head, giggling. "Wait, are you two together?" He asked dumbfounded looking at our hands. I blushed at his bold comment.

"No, we are not. We are just friends" Lauren spoke up. The delivery guy nodded his head perplexed. "Mm can you be in the photo as well?" He asked shyly. Lauren nodded her head giggling. He took out his phone, taking a selfie of the three of us.

"It was nice meeting you" He said blushing, "You two are even more beautiful in person" He said hiding his embarrassment. We thanked him, told him our goodbyes and went inside.

We sat down in the sofa, eatingour food. "That was something" I chuckled looking at Lauren who was eating her food eagerly. "Definitely something" She said with her mouth full of sushi.

"Gross" I sad taking a bite of my food laughing.
