Chapter 06

6:30 AM

Lee Dynasty

Seungmin tied his horse to a tree in the forest beside the castle so it wouldn't be seen and walked up to a bush hedge, he saw some men training and sparring and gasped when he remembered Minho telling him he enjoyed doing so. He scanned around the place until he saw Minho who was waiting for his turn in line, holding a spear.

Minho, who didn't notice Seungmin yet finally got his turn in line and held his spear at his side. When he was finally allowed to charge, he did so, avoiding every single attack thrown at him but instead pinning the guy down to the ground. "I won again!" He cheered.

Seungmin clapped his hands as he kneeled behind the bushes, he silently cheered for Minho. After getting distracted by a ladybug he looked back up and noticed Minho wasn't there anymore.

"Did someone come to see me?" Lee Know said from behind Seungmin smiling.

Seungmin nearly fell over and the ladybug on his hand flew away. "No... I just followed that ladybug here.." Seungmin chewed on his lip.

"Hm, seems like the ladybug wanted to see me too then." Lee Know chuckled, then helped Seungmin up onto his feet.

"Thank you, I was watching and you did great! You're really good at this." Seungmin said, smiling.

"Well thanks, I'm glad you seemed to like it." Minho smiled as well. "Anywho, you definitely came here to see me so I might as well give you a small but nice gift." He said before giving the other a small kiss on the cheek.

"I have a reward for you too since you didn't get one." Seungmin also kissed Minho on the cheek. He was surprised at himself, he's never kissed someone before.

"Well thanks, cutie," Minho said, taking a hold of Seungmin's hand and leading him somewhere. "Hop on my back really quickly." He said.

Seungmin nodded, liking the nickname, he got onto Minhos' back and put his arms around the older's neck. "Where are you taking me?"

"Somewhere special that I'm sure you'll like. If you trust me that is." The older whispered, continuing to walk somewhere.

"Of course I trust you," Seungmin replied instantly.

"Then I'm glad, anywho we're here I know it doesn't look like anything too special but wait until I do something." Lee Know said, revealing a huge willow tree and a clean-looking swamp. He let Seungmin down softly and then used his hands to push open the leaves to reveal the almost sparkling lake and a boat with a paddle. "Come here." He left a hand out for Seungmin while waiting.

Seungmin walked over with an excited skip in his step, he reached out his hand for Minho to grab.

And with that, Lee Know took a hold of Seungmin's hand and pulled him closer, then placed him on the backseat of the small wooden boat. He sat in the front and took the paddles. "I've always wanted to share this place's scenery with someone special to me." He said, now beginning to paddle.

Seungmin smiled. "It makes me happy that you said I'm special to you." He said, putting his arms around Minho's waist so he wouldn't wobble.

"Of course, I couldn't think of anyone else to share this with." He replied, paddling slowly but steadily. They then reached a part of the swamp where all of the willow trees were visible and the water was most definitely sparkling, they could even see the fish swimming in the water calmly.

"Oh my gosh, this is so pretty." Seungmin put a hand in the water, watching a clear streak of it fade away behind him.

"Yeah, I also brought you here because you reminded me of this place when you showed up today," Minho said, balancing the paddles on the sides of the boat so that way it would stop moving.

Seungmin loved the way the sun shone behind Minho and admired every single bit of his facial features from his spot. "You're very handsome." He complimented.

"Thank you, you're very handsome yourself as well. I could almost kiss you right now." Minho eyed Seungmin's lips for a bit before biting his own.

"You have my permission," Seungmin said, leaning in closer to Minho before connecting his lips with the older's.

Minho kissed Seungmin softly and then disconnected their lips smiling. "Your lips are soft." He said, brushing his thumb against Seungmin's lips.

"Thank you," Seungmin's cheeks turned pink.

"I can't help but wonder if I was your first kiss... was I?" He asked, leaning in again curiously.

Seungmin nodded, he was a bit embarrassed. "Mother always kept me from doing these things but I wanted really badly for you to be my first." He explained, fumbling around with his clothing.
