Lee Dynasty Castle

Lee Know woke up, and immediately found Seungmin awake already. "How long have you been awake angel?" He whispered.

"Hm, about an hour? I got ready because I like having extra time. How was your sleep?" Seungmin greeted Minho with a kiss.

"It was good, now I suggest you find something or a way to cover those love marks up." Minho laughed, pointing towards Seungmin's collarbone and neck.

Seungmin walked to the mirror. "Oh Gosh, you're right." He pulled his collar down, gasping at all the reddish spots."I can't go swimming in the river today then..." He frowned.

"I'm sorry about that angel, but we really need to bring you back now... as much as I love spending time with you, we could get caught soon and you might be reported as missing soon." Lee Know chuckled a bit, then hugged Seungmin.

The younger frowned. "You're right, do I have to go now though?" Seungmin asked, not letting go from the hug.

"Fine, I'll bring you back after we go for a ride in the boat in the same area again?" Minho suggested.

"Yay yeah." Seungmin smiled.

"Alright then let's go," Minho said, before changing into proper attire.

Seungmin walked over to the room doors and waited there for the older. "How should we meet up now after today? My mother now knows you're the one I like and I told her about the pub, she's probably informed the emperor of it as well." The younger thought.

"I'm not sure, but we could try sneaking to each other like we did yesterday." Minho shrugged, then going to the door as well. "Let me check to see if anyone's outside." He said, peeking his head out the door before giving an all clear sign.

"You could meet me in my garden when my mom travels to other kingdoms for trade. The servants will have a close eye on me but i'm royal as well, I can convince them to let me off." Seungmin whispered.

"Mhm, anywho we can go out of the castle through here." Minho opened his room door fully now and led the way out.

"Alright," Seungmin followed Minho out, keeping closely behind him to avoid getting caught.

"Oh it's Hyunjin... and Jeongin!" Minho squinted his eyes before realizing who was with him.

Seungmin took a look and once he realized he waved towards the two. "Hey there!" He cupped his hands over his mouth, shouting.

"Hi!" Jeongin waved back, getting closer to the other's.

"Hey Hyunjin!" Minho smiled, doing a miniature handshake with Hyunjin.

"Gosh are they adults or grade school boys?" Seungmin whispered to Jeongin.

Jeongin giggled and whispered back. "I'm not even sure anymore."

"Jeongin and I were just heading to the palace early so we wouldn't be late, what about you two? Where are you two going?" Hyunjin eyed the both of them.

"The nearby swamp... what's that?" Minho points to Jeongin's almost all purple neck.

Hyunjin looked in the direction Minho's finger was going. "Oh, I did that a few hours ago." He answered.

"You?" Minho gasped a bit surprised.

Jeongin just nodded slowly, confirming Minho's question.

Hyunjin took Jeongin's hand. "Well, we should get going. It'll be fatal if the head worker finds out we're late." He said. "Bye guys, have a safe trip!" Hyunjin waved.

"Bye!" Minho waved, taking Seungmin's hand. Once they finally got there, they ate breakfast and talked for a bit.

8:39 AM

Kim Dynasty Castle

Seungmin walked in through the palace entrance and snuck quietly, tip-toeing his way through the hallway. He walked into his room and the first thing he did was change into an outfit that could cover up his marks. He was startled by the sound of a servant bursting into the room.

"Your highness where were you? Your mother didn't find you in your room this morning and nearly collapsed to the ground." The woman said, catching her breath. Seungmin assumed she had run up the staircase.

"Oh I was..." Seungmin bit his lip, he knew he sucked at lying. "I was going on an early morning horse ride, to clear my head due to what happened at the party earlier." He explained.

The servant nodded and left quickly to explain to the empress the reason for the prince's disappearance.

Seungmin decided it would be better to go explain himself and walked through the hallways, looking in one room and another when he realized he should just give up. There were over fifty rooms in the palace, it was no use. He went to the front gates of the palace and sat at the stairs, looking down at the bush of flowers some servants were planting and tending to beside him.

A strange but familiar figure approached Seungmin's staircase with a suitcase in hand. "Oh Seungmin!" The familiar finally said, waving over to him.

Seungmin looked up and furrowed his eyebrows until he recognized where he'd seen this man before. It was Han Jisung. He stood up and quickly tried to come up with a reason to go. "Hi, I should get inside, i'm assuming you're here for my mother, I don't know where she is at the moment." He said, squinting because of the glaring sun behind Jisung.

"Don't worry, I came here for the both of you guys. So I can just hang out with you until she shows up." Jisung smiled at Seungmin.

"Oh," Seungmin turned pale, he was starting to feel sick in his stomach. "Okay, i'll be going inside, I don't feel too good out here." He walked inside the palace, a hand on his stomach.

Jisung looked a little concerned, but went to go chat with a servant that was outside.

Quickly once Seungmin made sure Jisung was gone he went to the nearest washroom and locked the door, he grabbed a bucket beside the bathtub and threw up. "Ugh, this is so gross..." He coughed, then stood up to wash his mouth out.

A knock was heard from the door and soon followed by a voice. "Are you okay? I'm a little concerned, you look pale." Jisung shouted from the other side of the door.

Seungmin dried his mouth after washing it with a towel then opened the door and looked at Jisung remembering this same expression on his face from a few years ago.
