Chapter 22

9:24 AM

Kim Dynasty Castle

Minho and Areum finally arrived at the castle and were let in by a servant who recognized them. Whey finally found Seungmin and Jisung acting all lovey dovey around each other; they both cringed a bit before approaching them.

"Hello guys, how are you both doing?" Minho asked.

Seungmin turned around to see Minho who he hadn't seen since the wedding. "We're fine, what's the reason for showing up like this out of nowhere?" He asked.

"I just wanted to apologize for randomly leaving during your wedding. I really am, I was just very hurt and shocked at the moment, but I brought some of your favorite foods for both you and... Jisung." Minho said, eyeing Jisung a bit before placing the basket down then some utensils.

Seungmin clapped his hands excitedly and grabbed the basket, already taking one of the salad bowls out and taking the fork inside, biting into it. "Yum!" He exclaimed with a full mouth.

Jisung glared back at Minho and held Seungmin closer to him. "Thank you for making my Seungmin happy." He put a smile on just for show and then noticed Areum.

Areum turned to Minho and made a grossed out face. "He's creepy..." She snickered but kept herself from laughing. "Is it good?" She asked.

Seungmin nodded and ate some more. "I forgot about the food over at your place, of course it isn't as good as the food here but it feels nice eating something different." He stuffed his face with some more.

After both Jisung and Seungmin ate some of the food, took the utensils back and bowed. "Thank you guys for having us out of nowhere, I just came here to congratulate you two, have a nice day." Minho said.

"You too, thank you for the food, I'm full!! Have a nice trip!" Seungmin smiled and waved to the two of them happily.

Minho nodded and then left for his own castle with Areum.

Jisung looked over at Seungmin and kissed him really quickly. "That's strange, I'm not sure why they would show up months after our wedding..." He shook his head, hugging Seungmin.

"Me neither, but his apology seemed sincere, he doesn't just apologize for himself like this to anybody." Seungmin wrapped his arms around Jisung. "The food was good though!" Seungmin patted his full stomach.

"Yeah, I guess we should go check up on the village now then." Jisung nodded before picking Seungmin up, smiling and walking out the castle as well.

12:09 PM

Lee Dynasty Village

"So you have a little place in my village? I'm impressed." Minho said, walking alongside Areum with their cloaks on so they wouldn't get spotted as they headed towards a little hut nearby the road they were walking on.

"Yup, my dad could never find me here so I bought a small secluded place that wouldn't draw too much attention." Areum unlocked the door, she walked to her desk which had some things on it and took the utensils Seungmin used, then put it into a glass tube. She got a small bowl and started mashing things together and sprinkling it into the tube with the utensil. The water around it turned a deep red. "Good news and terrible news!" She said.

"Tell me both of course, but tell me the terrible news first please." Mihno said, wincing one of his eyes a bit not knowing what to expect.

"Well, the terrible news is that Jisung got a witch to make what you know as a love potion. He poured it into his drinks, he's been using the liquid dose instead of the edible which usually can be extracted into fruit and food such as cookies. The good news is that we were right!" Areum awkwardly said.
