Episode: 10x16
"Agent Scottley." She answered, as she picked up her phone.
She yawned and scratched her arms, frowning when her back complained. She was probably sitting in her office for too long.
"Agent Scottley, do you work for the FBI?" The voice came from the phone as she got up from her chair.
"Yes. For the Behavior Analyzes Unit." She answered. "How can I help you, hum..."
"Mr. Tate." The man finished Lily's sentence. "I'm the new director of the Federal Prison of Texas and I think I might need your help."
"What happened, Mr. Tate?" She asked, as she walked back and forth in the office, trying to ease the stinging in her back.
"We found a body here, last night. It's the second guard in three months. Both stabbed in the neck with a sock stuffed in their mouth. That's what made me call you, really. The sock could be a signature, couldn't it?"
"It's possible." Lily agreed. "Forgive me, Mr. Tate, but this is a Federal prison we're talking about. Isn't every hallways and entrance filled with cameras?"
"It's an older facility and we're still updating the system, but officer Hightower was killed during a riot where the inmates temporarily disabled the cameras."
"Well, this could be a retaliatory act against the administration." She said. "In which case, it could happen again."
"Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of." He sighed. "Look, I only took over two months ago and two men are dead. They had families."
"Mr. Tate, we are here to help." Lily nodded. "Let me discuss it with my team and I'll let you know."
"Sounds good, thank you Agent."
With that, she hung up the phone and closed the file she had been looking over in her desk. She left her office and went straight to Hotch's. Knocking softly in the door to let him know she was coming in, she entered the room and went over the details she had with him.
"Okay." He decided, with a nod. "Call Tate and I'll get the team together. We have a new case."

"It's okay if we call you Tom?" Morgan asked as he and Lily sat on the desk in front of Officer Tom Polinsky so they could interrogate him. He only nodded. "So you reported directly to Officer Rivers."
"He was in my block's command." Polinsky answered.
Morgan reached inside the file and pulled out a picture of Devon White, showing it to Tom.
"Do you remember this inmate?" He asked.
"Yeah, yeah... He looks familiar." He shrugged, pushing the photo away.
"You took him to the infirmary four different times." Lily chirped in.
"His name is Devon White." Morgan added. "He was in D block."
"Yeah, yeah, Devon, I remember him." Tom said, still avoiding eye contact and looking at the picture displayed on the table.
"Do you remember anything about his transfer?" Lily asked. He shook his head. "What about the infirmary visits?"
"No, nothing." He lied.
Lily and Morgan shared a look. He knew something.
"Are you okay?" Derek asked. "You want water or something?"
"Yeah, sure." Tom agreed, causing Morgan to get up from his seat and grab the bottle of water sitting on the table behind them, pouring a cup for Polinsky.
