Amy's POV

I was busy cooking pancakes for me and Sonic.

I was starting to think about Sally and Mina and how what ways in one in which they both destroy my sanity.

Well, first off- they both came out of nowhere and just began to attack me.

Second, they keep coming towards Sonic MY MANZ.

And third, they both have the same emotional effect on me- which is making me get super angry to the point where my fur goes from pink to purple.

As I kept thinking about them, little did I know I was subconsciously burning my pancakes and totallyyy smelling the burning dough.

I finally lost my train of thought and realized at the part where I felt myself sweating and heating up and looking down to see my pancakes in the pan (which are burnt asf and on fire).

I panicked and quickly threw the pan of pancakes in the sink. I turn the faucet on and let the water run over the water so the fire would go out.

Then I open up all of my windows and grab a big fan to let the smoky air out since there was a lot from the fired up pancakes.

Once I finished opening up everything around the house and throwing out my burnt pancakes, I sat down tiredly on the couch.

All that work because I burnt up some stupid f*cking pancakes.

As the smoke was slowly taking its time to get the h*ll out my house, I was holding a damp cloth to my nose and mouth so I didn't breath it in.

Since I had nothing else to do, I grab the remote of the coffee table and went to Disney+.

I turned on my favorite Disney movie, 101 Dalmatians.

I was just about to turn it on until the doorbell rang. I annoyedly got up but went joyful when I opened the door to reveal Sonic.

"Hey Ames!" Sonic cheered happily but his happiness was short-lived when he sniffed the air and scrunched his nose up in disgust.

"Don't tell me you burned something," he complained, holding his nose from the smell. I could see his eyes slowly watering from the smoke.

Mine was too.

"I may have, may have not burnt something up..." I mumbled lowly, fidgeting with my quills and looking down at the floor.

"Typical Amy," Sonic chuckled and set his stuff down at the front door and sat down on the couch, where I sat with him.

I got up quickly to get a damp towel since I didn't want the chance of risking Sonic's lung health with the smoke in the air.

Once I gave him the towel, we looked at each other even though our eyes were burning.

"How you'd manage to burn breakfast?" Sonic asked me, breaking the comfortable silence between us.

"Uh.. I don't know. I guess I wasn't paying attention," I replied nervously. Sonic didn't seem to believe me but shrugged anyways.

Then he got up and gestured for me to get up too.

I grabbed me by the waist and picked me up bridal style. "What's going on, Sonic? Are we going somewhere?" I said in his arms, watching him carry me out the house.

"Sonic???" I questioned but then he covered my mouth with his finger and shushed me.

Then he told me to close my eyes and hold on tight.

I nodded and did as I was told. I could sense the dizziness building up inside me as Sonic sped to wherever he was taking me.

He finally stopped and put me down. With my eyes still closed, I almost fell due to the dizziness from my adrenaline rush.
