Chapter 10

It was time for award ceremony. Hyoma didn't win any points. Gingka, Tsubasa and Yu won 500 points. Kenta won 1,000 points. Kyoya won 3,000 points. (Y/N) won the 10,000 points and now at 58,000 points, so that means that she can now enter Battle Bladers. Everyone cheered for her as she smiled and saw an jealous Kyoya, happy Kenta, and a disappointed Gingka, Yu, Tsubasa and Hyoma.

"You did it, (Y/N)!" Gingka smiled up at her.

"Congratulations!" Kenta smiled as well.

"I'll see you guys there soon." She told them and then soon after the ceremony was over.

(Y/N) walked around and found Tsubasa and Yu getting into the helicopter. She thought about running to them, but didn't bother. She sighed and walked off slowly.

Suddenly, someone touched her shoulder. It was Hyoma. His smile made her look down. He knew something was wrong with her so he hugged her gently. She hugged back and soon calmed down.

"What's the matter, (Y/N)?" He asked quietly as she pulled away.

"Oh... uhm. I can't really explain it." She was embarressed and rubbed the back of her neck. "Let's just say I have someone special and I couldn't see them off."

"Maybe they needed to do something really important."

"You have a point..."

(Y/N), Gingka and Madoka were talking about Pegasus' new special move, and how Gingka can't control it fully yet. He needs more launch power.

Madoka handed him a Digital Power Launcher. It counts how much someone's launch power increases.

"Let It Rip!" Gingka launched Pegasus and saw a big number appear on the Digital Power Launcher. "53,642!?" He was shocked. "What's this number?"

"The Digital Power Launcher changes a Blader's launch power into a number and displays it." Madoka answered.

"Could I try it?" (Y/N) asked getting out (B/N).

"Of course." Gingka happily spoke, handed her the launcher.

"Let It Rip!" She launched (B/N) and saw a number appeared. "72,541!"

"What!?" Gingka fell to the ground as Madoka chuckled and smirked.

"That is amazing, (Y/N)! Your launch power is amazing!" Madoka clapped her hands.

A weird-looking guy then came up to them and began to speak.

"My name is Nigel Crabcakes. A researcher tops." He spoke. Something  seemed off about this guy. Very off.

(Y/N)'s POV...

Is that Tetsuya? Or am I dreaming? Hmm... just have to wait and see. He had a lot of Bey parts. We know this because he showed us all of the different parts.

"Do you believe me now?"

"U-Uhh... yeah, I guess." Gingka sweated.

Gingka and Madoka were very confused and I stared. We then looked at what he pointed and told us.

Coloured flying crabs. They are balloons for Battle Bladers.

"So, it's you Tetsuya!" He then ran off with Gingka's pointer. All of us were yelling at him as he then to scuddle like a crab and got away.

We found him at the construction site, about to put all of Gingka's points onto his own pointer. What a cheater! As we were about to grab him he jumped onto a rising metal construction bar as I jumped onto the one behind us and tried to grab it, but missed as he shrieked and sighed in relief.
