Chapter 20

"Gingka..." Phoenix stood up, his voice sounding more human than metallic, due to the broken mask. That was when Phoenix took off his mask to reveal that he was Ryo Hagane. "It's been a long time, Gingka." Gingka was frozen in his spot, not believing his eyes.

"Ah... F-Father? Is it... is it really you?" Gingka's eyes shook with confusion, happiness and sadness. He doesn't know how to feel.

"Phoenix is..." Madoka paused.

"Gingka's Dad!?" Kenta asked in shock as Hyoma ran in front of Ryo so he could see his face.

"But Gingka's... Gingka's Father is gone."

"I am one to die soo easily. I am the Phoenix. I have been reborn again." Ryo smiled.

"What do you mean 'Phoenix'? How could you?" Gingka clutched his fist as tears formed quickly. "How could you actually do this to me!? What were you possibly thinking!? Aah...." Gingka now cried. "If you were alive... Why didn't you come to see me right away? Father!? Father!" Gingka hugged Ryo tightly and cried loudly on Ryo's shirt and jacket.

"Oh Gingka... I am soo sorry." He hugged his son back.

"Dad... Dad!" Ryo moved Gingka away slowly and knelt down.

"Right now... we better hurry up and rescue your friend, Gingka."

"That's right. Yu needs us." Kenta wiped away his own tears of joy.

Gingka gasped at Kenta before seeing (Y/N) on the floor. He ran to her and nudged her.

"(Y/N)... (Y/N)! Wake up!" Gingka begged and kept on nudging her. She groaned as her eyes opened to see the crying Blader. "(Y-Y/N)..."

"G-Gingka..." She lifted her hand as he grabbed it happily. She then looked at Phoenix. "S-So... you've finally r-revealed yourself... now?" Ryo nodded and picked her up.

"Y-You knew?" Gingka and Madoka both gasped in shock.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Gingka asked.

"I needed to keep it a secret. Mr. Hagane will explain it all." (Y/N) then rested in Ryo's arms because she still felt drained of energy.

"We need to find Yu and fast!" Kenta told them all as they all searched for their little friend.

Once they found Yu, who was locked into a room, they returned to the stadium and rested in a room they can prepare in.

Gingka was eager to get words from his Father while Yu and (Y/N) were laying down on the wooden benches that were inside of the rather large room. Gingka wanted to know why Ryo hidden the fact that he was still alive and not tell him, taking a new name and wearing a mask.

Ryo then started to speak about Beyblade History. It involved a star. There were more than one star that fell from the sky. That mysterious star was the star that contained L-Drago. An evil, dark power. It enchanted power in the humans back then. It can absord the feelings of anger and more into Dark Power. As time passed, the Bey was passed from person to person for their evil doings.

It stored up power and L-Drago transformed into Lightning L-Drago.

The only way to defeat L-Drago is the Light of Hope.

Others wanted to stop the evil power with their hopeful power. That Beyblade was Pegasus. It was just able to defeat L-Drago and hidden away for many years. All Beys have an incredible history.

A few months back, Hokuto, the talking dog, saved Ryo from the collasped mountain where he had lost the battle with Ryuga. He said he'll get help, but Ryo refused help. He didn't want anyone to know he was still alive. He said that it would be better for Gingka's sake, and it'll be better because of the Dark Nebula. They would think he would be dead.
