Chapter 13

Tsubasa and (Y/N) were in the hotel room as he looked out the window.

"Battle Bladers, huh? I will defeat Ryuga... no matter what." Tsubasa mummbled to himself as he heard some faint muffles and looked over to the bed.

"T-Tsubasa?"

"(Y/N)." He walked over to her. "Go back to sleep. It's late."

"What about you?"

"I'm fine." He walked over to her and smiled, kissing her forehead. "Please. Get some more sleep. Battle Bladers starts tomorrow morning."

"Sleep with me..." She mummbled as they both blushed at the comment.

"S-Sure." Tsubasa stuttered and took off his sleeveless shirt and his shoes, joining her in bed. "Sorry if not having a shirt bothers you."

"Your saying that like I never seen anybody undress before." She giggled as he shrugged it off and brought her close to him. "Goodnight, Tsubasa."

"Goodnight, (Y/N)."

"I can't wait until tomorrow, Madoka!" Gingka cheered as his best friend was checking up his Beyblade, Pegasus. "Are you done yet?"

"No, not yet, Gingka. The tournament will be exciting with a bunch of really strong Bladers." Madoka smiled and soon finished the maintenance.

"Battle Bladers, huh? The winner of that tournament will be me! Kyoya!" Kyoya roared out, holding his Bey high up to the moon as Benkei watched from the bottom of the hill.

"Bull, bull, Kyoya pal. You'll have to get through me first." Benkei whispered and looked at Dark Bull with pride. "I will show you how strong I have gotten."

"Master Ryuga. Is there anything you need before tomorrow?" Doji asked, walking to Ryuga who was sat on a bench, holding Lightning L-Drago. "Master Ryuga? What's wrong?"

"I feel... pressured. In Battle Bladers, I'll have to battle the strongest opponents... like (Y/N)."

"And? What does that have to do with anything?" Doji asked, concerned.

"I don't want to hurt my cousin. She stuck by me when I was sad back a few years ago." Ryuga growled to himself and his whole body glew with a pinkish-purple aura from the Forbidden Bey. "Actually, if she stands in my way, I will steal her power!" The aura stopped, causing the white-haired male with a red strike to sigh heavily, regretting his sentence. He would never show how soft he would get with (Y/N).

It was the next day, which meant... Battle Bladers!

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the WBBA Tournament! Let the Battle Bladers begin!" Blader DJ announced as the crowd went wild with cheers. "And now let's present the opening ceremony to the spectators filling the stadium with all the millions of you watching at home! Your attention please! May we introduce the 18 Bladers who have battled their ways through the challenge matches, and come to fight for the right to claim victory in the biggest competition in the country." That was when the lighta focused on the opening floor to show 18 Bladers:

Tetsuya Watarigani, Kumasuke Kamade, Reiki Sodo, Tobio Oike (Captain Capri), Ryutaro Fukami, Yu Tendo, Teru Saotome, Hikaru Hasama, Tsubasa Otori, Hyoma, Benkei Hanawa, Kyoya Tategami, Kenta Yumiya, Gingka Hagane, (Y/N) (L/N), and Sam Cricky.

The last two Bladers were no where to be seen.

"Come on, guys! You can do it!" Madoka yelled from the crowd of loud people.
