I-I... I'm speechless.
I've been wanting to marry him for the longest. He's legitimately perfect. If I could sculpt my perfect man, it'll be Mr. Lee-Anthony Pinnock. Everything from his soul to his body.
And his size is impeccable; I'm gonna end up having more than three of his kids.
The fact we start our first year together as fiancés makes me feel like I'm in an Adult Swim version of Disney.
The next morning while we eat breakfast with Perrie and Alexis, him and I exchanged looks and smiles the entire time. I still can't believe he proposed to me. We hadn't told anyone the news just yet.
We thought it'll be fun to tell them without telling them.
"You two are extra hetero this morning," Perrie comments, sitting on Alexis's lap. We connect eyes again, his giddy little smile making another appearance.
Something I've learned early on in our relationship is this boy is terrible at keeping secrets. Last year on Perrie's birthday, he let it out that we were throwing a surprise party.
She didn't tell me until after the party and I was a bit annoyed, Lee was under me like a little baby all night. I wanted to stay mad at him, but he's too cute when he's in Baby Boy mode.
Perrie continues to think when Alexis eyes grew. "Are you pregnant?" I shrug indifferently, "Eh." Perrie gasps, "You are??" She covers her mouth in shock. Lee grabs my waist subtly and I automatically slip onto his lap.
He circles my waist and I put my right hand on his. I look over my shoulder at him and he looks like he can't hold it in. "Wanna tell 'em?" I ask quietly and he smiles big.
"We're getting married!" He says excited and both women's jaws drop. "Wait, what?" They say in unison. It made me giggle. "You got on the ring?" I hold my hand out and Perrie grabs it.
"Ow! Easy, bitch," I say as she examines it. "Daamn, how much was this?" Alexis looks at it next, eyes wide.
"A gentleman never tells," he says then kisses behind my ear. I flinch with a snort and move from him a bit, but he holds me and do it again. "Leeee, stooop," I giggle until he finally does.
"Awh," Perrie coos. "I love that my hetero bestie is gonna be married then next you know, little Leeade babies would be crawling around this bitch. Ooh, can I kidnap it when you actually give birth?"
"Whoa, Pez. We didn't even try making a baby just yet," I half joke. She promptly slides off of Alexis's lap then circled the counter to us. She grabs our wrists then made us stand up.
"Go ahead and get started. Lexi and I are going to her parents' house so, yous work on being parents, okay 'kay?" She practically shoves us in my room, then closes it.
Two seconds later, she reenters and snatches the fresh box of jimmies from the nightstand then leaves once more. But not before locking the door.
I look up at Lee and he shrugs. "I was gonna wait until tonight," he says and I raise my brows. "You were gonna try to get me pregnant?" I cross my arms over his Watford jersey and put weight on one foot.
His eyes grow in size and he begins to stammer, "I-I mean, I was gonna ask you first." He stops and sighs as my demeanor turns to amusement.
"I just think the concept of you being a mum to my child is... beautiful to me," his tone more gentle. It made my mood change to softness at how he's looking and speaking to me.
"Just thinking about it," he then puts a hand on my stomach. My eyes go to his manicured nails.
Yes, my (legit) future hubby takes care of himself. He's such a diva for a footballer.
