Not An Obsession

The finale bell rang and I grabbed all my books and walked off to my locker where the normal  ain't shit nigga stood waiting to hit on me. I rolled my eyes as I opened my locker.

"Damn Nae did that ass get fatter over night? " I rolled my eyes as I flipped my long black hair over my shoulders putting my jacket on.

"Only you would know you look at it every damn day." I slammed my locker and walked away.  Only to feel Kevin's presence still behind me.

"Girl stop acting like that you know you want all this." I knew my girls where outside waiting for me cause we had to catch our bus but I had to fuck with his mind just a little. I pressed my body to his and leaned up so my lips where just centimeters from his.

"Get lost Kevin you couldn't handle me!" Then I walked outside with a devious smirk on my face. I walked outside to see my girls waiting for me.

"come on girl damn we got work." Jade said about to yell at me. Jade was the brown skin beauty of the group. She has a fiery attitude. A short Keri  cut and a beautiful face.

"I'm coming damn." I walked toward them.

 "Yo Nae." I looked around the big parking lot to see Dontae leaning on his car motioning for me to come here. But of course her was Kevin.

 "Bitch did you think that shit was funny?"

"I found it pretty entertaining now move."I tried to walk around him but he grabbed me back "naw it aint going down like that!"

"you pulling on the ladies now Kevin?" I heard behind me. i turned and saw Tae.  "Hey Tae." "Wassup ma? Come on Kev you know this all me.""Whatever man." kevin said walking away.

 "thank you," I said to him. "no problem  but wassup?" You know just chillin' what's up with you?" He leaned on his  car.

"Thinking bout when you gone come chill wit a nigga?"he said in a slick tone.

 "You know I've been thinking the same thing." Everything I knew about Dontae Franklin attracted me to him. His bad boy attitude with the swag to match was a major turn on.

The rock hard abs and tight muscles poking thru his button down, and the fact he was bout his money was another reason i was attracted to him.

He put his hands on my waist."lets be out.""I can't today. Nana is waiting for me at the store.""come on girl I ain't gone have the time no other day." "Sorry Tae. I'll make it up to you another day I promise." "You better."

He looked around the empty parking lot and pressed his lips to mine. When he pulled away he smiled and got in his car.

"You need a ride?" I shook my head and started walking to the bus stop. "Come on girl I don't bite get you ass in the car I'll drop you off."

I probably missed my bus plus jade, Khya and tianna probably left me so I got in his car. He had a smirk on his face and started driving. But he pulled up to a house.

 "What are we doing here?" "I gotta pick up my bag real quick,then I'll drop you off." He got out the car and walked in the house.

He came out with a blunt behind his ear and a book bag. He got in sat the book bag in the back and took the blunt from behind his ear and lit it.

"Shit I'm being rude you smoke?" I shook my head.  "You sure?""I'm good." "Awe little Nae scared grandma gone find out?" "Ain't nobody little and ain't nobody scared. Let me get that." I know I don't smoke. But I couldn't  look like a punk infront of Tae. So I took the lighter out the ash and fume of smoke filled my mouth.

 And I started to choke.

Tae laughed and grabbed the blunt out my hand. " damn girl you choking  hard." He said with laughter in his tone.

He pulled up to my grandmas bakery.

"Spray something before you get out." I grabbed some perfume out my bag and sprayed myself.

" I'll see you later." He said

I nodded and smiled then got out. I saw my girls in the bakery so I walked in.

"Look who decided to show up." Khya said pointing to me.

"Will you shut up. Where nana?" "She went to the bank. Now what did Tae want?" Tianna asked

"He just wanted to talk a little bit." I put my apron on and smiled. "And? Girl spill."jade said  I shook my head."we saw  that kiss before the bus came what was that." Jade said. "Nothing not a thing." Nana came walking in the bakery and all talk of Tae Franklin was over.

 When we got to school the next day Tae and a group of his friends where in the parking lot talking. "Yo Nae!" He screamed motioning for me

"I'll see y'all in a minute "I said to my friends walking to him.

"What's up baby?" He said pecking my lips.

"Nothing what's up wit you?"

"We having a party this weekend you gone slide thru?"

"Only if I can bring my girls?" "The more the merrier."

"I'll be there then."

He leaned down and whispered in my ear.

"Let them know that you gone be with me all night so don't come looking." I bit my lip nodded and walked off to the building.

I had first period with Khya. She looked at me.

"You got some explaining to do?" Mimicking the voice from I love Lucy

"How about I don't? And I tell you we all just got invited to Dontae franklins party this weekend."

"Oh hell yea we gotta turn up!" She said loud and everybody in the class turned and looked at us.

"Duh fuck y'all looking at. Y'all act like y'all ain't never seen us turned up!" Khya said to the class. I shook my head chuckling to myself. I sent Tianna and Jade a text telling them about the party.
