Monday was just another day. I went through the motions like I did everyday. I hadnt seen or talked to Tae since Saturday night. Which was the fucked up part. I guess I was just another girl. I closed my locker and expected to see Kevin but to my surprise he was booed up with some girl. Damn bitch can't even keep her groupies in order.
I walked out the door and saw Tae leaning against the car. Talking to my girls.
"Girl if you don't hurry up." Tianna said. I shook my head at her I was still trippin on that shit she did the other night leaving us. But it's cool.
"Aye don't be talking to my girl like that." He wrapped his arms around me.
"Oh so that's how it is Nae? Y'all together now?" Khya said looking at him. Khya HATED dontae with a passion. Since the 3rd grade she's always hated him.
"Yea Khya that's how it is now. Where ya boy? Kyle right?" Tae said referring to the fact Khya and Kyle just broke up again. "yea Kyle. He's somewhere being a bitch now we gotta go if we done with the bullshit."
"Chill Ky damn. We just got out of school I ain't trying to hear all that." I said rolling my eyes. I pecked his lips and they all walked away.
"Did you mean that?" I said "I said it didn't I?" I smiled and pecked his lips again. "I'll see you later." He nodded and I walked off to the bus.

Grandma was in the back of the bakery counting money from the register. Me and Khya where sitting on the counters eating left over cupcakes from the day.
"So that's how it is nae? You get the D one time and all of a sudden you his girl now." I rolled my eyes. "Why can't you just be happy for me? I was happy for you." "I don't trust him and neither should you." "Look I'm a big girl I can make my own decision I'm tired of you Tianna and Jade looking down at me for shit." I rolled my eyes and hoped off the counter sitting the tray in the sink.
"We not looking down on you. We're looking out for you it's a difference."
I heard a horn honk and Khya got off the counter. "Bye nae." I chucked the deuces as she walked out.

The next few days at the bakery was just as awkward. Khya was going on and on about Kyle. Jade wanted to know about Tae and Tianna was taking orders.
"So tell us was he good?" I chuckled at Jade and nodded. "That's my girl. When y'all gone go out and chill?" "Not sure I gotta ask him."
"Lets be real if they do go out the only place he gone be trying to take you is his house." I looked a Khya with raging eyes. Tianna looked back with the 'oh shit' look. "Hole up chill wit that shit. Your mad cause you weren't even enough for little ole Kyle. Just because I finally got me a nigga don't mean you should hate cause your single again cause mind you Kyle had that ass spread all on the kitchen counter. Right Khya. "
"Your so damn stupid Tranae your gone let that nigga get in yo head. You stupid Ho. Yea Kyle had me on the counter but we had a REAL relationship not just sex. So don't go putting my shit out there Ho."
"I'm the Ho. Come on Khya lets not expose secrets. Or have you not told jade you fucked Ken Sophmore year. Stupid bitch he had that ass real good didnt."
Tianna pulled Jade away from Khya cause lord knows what could've happened.
"I trusted you." Khya screamed at me. "And I thought you were my girl not a fucking hater." My grandma pulled me by my arm and sat me down in the chair across from her desk.
"What is wrong with you Alona?" I didn't say anything I just sat their shaking. "Tranae Alona Monroe I am talking to you."
"She started it. Hatin ass bitch." She looked at me with shocked eyes. She never heard me talk like that. "Alona what has gotten into you,Coming home late, missing work, arguing with your best friends this isn't you."
"Nothing has gotten into me. Can I please just go home?"
"Yea you need to relax ok?" She picked up the ringing phone as I walked out the office. Jade looked beyond pissed as Tianna held her back. I called Dontae and he picked me up a block away from the bakery.
