I walked back in my house around 11. My mom was sitting on the couch I'm sure she just got in herself.

"What happened at the bakery today Tranae?" She said looking at me. I walked all the way in and waited.

"Am I speaking another language I asked you a questions." She said

"I don't want to talk about it." I was about to walk up the stairs.

"Don't walk away when I'm talking to you." I walked back to the living room.

"Yes?" "What happened?" She said folding her arms.

"She started an argument with me. She wasn't ready for what came with it."

"Why? What happened?"

"She just... She pushed my buttons." She patted the seat next to her and walked over to sit.

"You and Khya have been friends since you've been in diapers what could make you fight?"

"She's a hater ma. And now I see that." She wrapped her arms around me for a hug.

"Don't let something stupid ruin a friendship ok?" I nodded and got up going upstairs.

The next day after school I was standing in the parking lot waiting for Tianna and jade. I saw Michael in the parking lot so I went over to talk to him.

"I've seen you here more in the last week than I have when we went to school together." He chuckled and hugged me.

"I'm doing a favor for yall niggas."

"What?" "Don't worry bout it you'll see." I rolled my eyes.

"Fine Mikey." He chuckled "heard bout you and Khya.""yea I don't role with haters." Right when I said that Tae came walking up behind me and he grabbed my arm.

"What the fuck Tae owe." "Why you talking to this nigga?" "Yo chill pulling on her like that." Mike said "I'll do what I please. Lets go." He pulled me to his car.

"Why you pulling on me like that?"

"I don't want you talking to that nigga you hear me?" I didn't say anything. I've never heard him yell at me like that.

"Do you hear me?!" I nodded. He pulled out of the parking lot

Over the next few weeks that's the way he talked to me. He yelled he'd yank me up a little. I walked in my house that night around 2 am. Since it was Saturday I didn't expect my mother to be home yet but of course her and nana were up waiting .

"Where have you been?" Nana said to me. "Out." "Out where Tranae." My mother said.

"Just out." "Either you tell me where you were or get out of my house. I will not put up with this constant disrespect." I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"Your kicking me out." "Am I? Or are you going to tell me why you've been sneaking around this past month." "Teresa no." "Yes Mami she will not continue to disrespect my house. " "fine ill be back for my stuff later."

I saw tears fall from both there eyes. I slung my purse over my shoulder and walked out the house.

I walked off to Tiannas house. I knocked on the door since I knew her parents where away for the weekend. She had a robe on. She wiped her face and looked at me.

"Hey nae." "Hey T.. I got kicked out you mind if I stay here?"

"You know I would nae but rich is here." I rolled my eyes.
