I woke up alone with a bouquet of tulips sitting on the night stand. I'm guessing Drew or Beau drug Robert out earlier this morning to help with the very last minute details. He hadn't gotten me tulips in a while, so it was a nice surprise.

I got up and hopped in the shower. I was the only one in the house as everyone else was in the wedding. I would be lying if I said I didn't need some alone time after these past few days.

"I keep going to the river to pray," I started singing, dancing around the bathroom in my towel. I had a few hours to waste before I'd be getting a call from Drew or Robert, needing me to bring them something. "Cause I need something that can wash all the pain."

I stepped into the gold midi skirt I had bought to match Robert's tie and started blowing out my hair before putting on the white button up that I would wear with it. Knowing my luck, I'd get makeup on it. It was definitely going to get food on it during the reception.

>> Will you bring me coffee?
<< I guess. I'll be there in half an hour, depending on traffic.

I put on my blouse, tucking it in and rolling up the sleeves. As I was padding into the bedroom, my phone started ringing.

"Yes?" It was Patrick. I really didn't expect him to be calling me.

"Will you pick me up? I don't want to drive."

"Patrick I'm going to be there an hour and a half early. Do you really want to follow me around?" I really hoped that would make him find a ride with someone else, but it didn't.

"Well no, but my hotel is close to the church."

"Then fucking walk. Its a nice day out." I struggled to put on my heels and hold the phone between my shoulder and eat. "Or better yet, ask Jon to bring you."

"Please Scar."

"Fine. Just make sure you're ready."

>> Make that 4 iced coffees
<< I swear to God if any of you spill these on yourselves I will have your head before Drew will know

After buckling my wedge, I grabbed my purse and the rental car keys. I locked up the house and was on my way to the nearest coffee shop.

"Hold these." I handed over the carrier of iced coffee to Patrick as he climbed in.

"Don't I get one?" Patrick whined, thinking I had left him out.

"Yeah it's in the holder." I was almost to the church when my phone started ringing. "What?"

"Drew wants gummy worms." I heard yelling in the background, "Sour gummy worms."

"Right. I'll be there in 15 minutes." I tossed my phone to Patrick and checked my mirrors. "Got a hold of those?"

"Yeah, why?" I did a sharp u-turn and pulled into the gas station parking lot.

I ran in, got a few packs of gummy worms and ran back to the car praying that no one else would call me.

"Finally." I put the car in park and relaxed in the seat. It wasn't even my wedding day and I was stressed. When I had taken a few breaths to calm down, I got out of the car and Patrick followed me.

"Since when do you wear heels?"

"Since I realized how good they make my legs look." We wandered around for a while before finding where Drew and her bridesmaids were hiding out.

"Oh you're my hero." Drew grabbed the bags and hugged me.

"You look beautiful, Drew. I'll come find you later. Patrick and I have to go give all the groomsmen their coffee before they start crying."
