summary:
you've known hawk since he was eli. you never knew he had something for you. he tried pushing those feelings away by becoming hawk and dating moon. little did he know, it was hurting you more than it was hurting him

"i know you like him y/n" moon says as we were sitting on my bed. she texted me saying we needed to talk about how i was. i stopped going to school or even out for some time ever since moon and hawk started dating. honestly, i'm really jealous of moon. but i love her so i don't say anything. she is my best friend after all, right?

"how?" i ask

"i see the way you look at him. you deserve him." she says

"n-no moon it's okay, really it is. you are dating and i don't want to ruin it because of a silly high school crush." i say chuckling softly

"no it's okay, i think i'm leaning more towards the girls side." she says shyly

"OH MY GOSH! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! how do you know?"

"ever since we had that kiss at spin the bottle." she says

"i feel special knowing i helped you find yourself."

she laughs "thank you y/n. let me talk to ha- eli okay?" she says eli around me because i really dis like the name hawk.

"thank you moon, love you babe" i say giving her a hug

"yes yes of course."

~time skip~

hawk calls me

"i need you y/n, please"

"i'm on my way. you home?"

"y-yeah" he says sniffing. i'm guessing moon just broke up with him

"be there" i say hanging up

~time skip~
i arrive. i knock and his mom answers

"he's a wreck. moon came by to tell me why. shoot your shot darling. i know he likes you." she says smiling

"thanks mom" i say smiling. i call her mom because she was always around since i was a kid when my actual mom passed away due to an overdose. i walk to his room

"eli? love? can i come in please?" i say.

hawk's pov

"eli? love? can i come i please?"

gosh i love her voice. i love when she calls me love or any nickname

i push my thoughts aside and i run to the door, straight into her arms

y/n's pov

i hear him rush to the door. he goes straight into my arms. i embrace him. i bring him in his room and i close the door. i rub his back as he nuzzles his face into my neck. his mohawk isn't in so i feel his soft, frizzy hair. we stand a bit longer

"darling, i'm getting tired. may we sit?" i say. he nods but doesn't pull away from the hug, so i walk us over to his bed. he continues to cry into my neck. i rub circles on his back whispering things to help him feel better

"she loved you okay?" "you're amazing" "i love you so much eli" "don't cry, you're too handsome to cry" "she can't control who she loves." "i'm always here"

he pulls away. he looks me in my eyes. he has red, puffy, watery eyes. his cheeks are stained with tears. his eyes, those darn eyes, show sadness, but love? he looks at my lips.

"what would you do if i kissed you?" he says before sniffling again

"i um-

he kisses me. i kiss back and wrap my arms around his neck. he grabs my hips and pulls me into his lap. i pull away

"look, moon broke up with me because she said she likes a girl named piper. but she also said it's because she can tell how i feel about you, and how you feel about me. y/n, i love you so much. i really do. i didn't know you felt the same. so with that,
y/n, will you please be my girlfriend?"

i'm shocked "of course i will" i say smiling

he kisses me again, he moves my hips slowly up and down his lap causing me to softly groan into the kiss. he pulls away

"are you okay with us doing this?" he says

"trust me, i want you." i say

he looks at me with lust and straddles on top of me

"stay quiet princess, my moms home"

let's just say, they didn't stay that quiet. but Ms, Moskowitz left a bit earlier to the store.
