jacob: all of it pt 2

(here is part 2 lovies <3)

"hey" he said. i knew he knew about this party. but i didn't think he'd actually show. god, this is so embarrassing. 

"um hey, it's uh, it's nice to see you i guess." i say

"okay you guys seriously need to talk because this is just so awkward and embarrassing." xolo says making hannah and peyton nod their heads in agreement. 

"uh well, can we talk?" jacob asks. 

i don't think i want to talk to jacob. the way things ended were horrible, i understand that. but that doesn't mean i want to talk to him a few months later at a party for my album that's mostly about him... fuck it, i want things to go back to normal, but not in a dating sense.

"sure, we can go outside." i say, i make my way to the backyard with jacob following. i hope this goes well and doesn't blow up in my face. "so, what'd you want to talk about." i ask as we sit outside.

"y/n, the way things ended weren't right. the way you found out about lily (sorry if ur names lily😭) wasn't right. i was stupid for leaving you. i should not have done that. i miss you, a lot. you never really know how badly you need someone until they're out of your life." he says. i use to say that phrase all the time around him. 

"you're right, the way things ended weren't okay and i wish they ended a bit smoother. yes jacob, i miss you too. but you did a lot of mental damage to me. you made me feel like i wasn't enough for you, more like i wasn't good for you-

"no no no, y/n you're. perfect for me. and i was so stupid to not see that before" jacob says cutting me off. 

"tonight really isn't the best night to talk about this. what does lily even think about you being here? is she okay with it?" i ask

"y/n, me and lily broke up. we both realized that you are the one for me. she was starting to fall in love with someone else, too." he says. i regret asking

"i'm uh, so sorry to hear that? i'm not sure what to say. but um like i said. tonight is not the night to talk about this. i am really excited for my album to come out, even though most songs are about our break up and my other break ups." i explain

"maybe we can talk another time? how about we discuss a date and time for lunch?" he asks

"sure, that sounds good" i say with a small smile. we stand up.

"it's a date!" he says

"mm don't push it." we laugh and he pulls me into a hug.

"i've missed this." he says

i sigh "yeah, i can't lie. i've missed this too."

"talk after your party?" he says. i nod

"thank you all for coming! i appreciate all your support during the making of this album. with great pride, let me now introduce SOUR!!!!." i say. 

"you did it sis!!" xolo says hugging me

"thank you guys. have you seen jacob?"i ask

"he left after you guys parted. i'm sorry" peyton says. i give a faint smile. i hear my phone go off

jacob: don't think i forgot, i'll see you at our fav spot on sunday at 11 <3

"classic jacob" hannah says. i sigh

"just glad he didn't bail on me like he did before." 

"he really misses you. he is not going to make that stupid mistake again." mary says

"i won't let him. not this time" i say smiling

"see, soulmates!!" xolo exclaims clapping his hands together

"well we'll see about that." i say

"LETS ENJOY THE PARTY!!" hannah says dragging me to the bar "lets drink and not stop" peyton says behind me. i laugh

we really didn't stop....

-time skip-

"not true! you were the one that threw coffee on my shirt in front of the cast and directors!"

"but that was after you put red dye in my shampoo! even though that actually benefited me" i say laughing. 

yeah, we ended up going out to talk things through,  they went pretty good. 

"i'm sorry for the whole prank war thing i started with you. i really thought you were interested in gianni!" jacob says laughing

"never! i love gianni, but only as a best friend! nothing else, nothing more. i told you that you had nothing to worry about!." 

"yeah, i should had believed you. in my defense, you are really hot and you could have anyone! i always thought you were going to leave me for someone else." he says

i frown. "jacob, i only left you because you told me you liked lily. " i said

"i should of never made that mistake, i love you y/n. take me back please."

i smile "i love you too jacob"
