y/n's pov

i was sitting on the couch in between alec and kane. they were currently playing video games. joey went out to check the mail. i know his letter comes in today to see if he got accepted into U-tech.
he walks in and goes straight upstairs. neither alec or kane noticed so i get up.

"i'll be right back." i say walking to the stairs

"yeah whatever" alec says. i roll my eyes and continue my way to joey's room. he's sitting on the edge of his bed with his face in his hands, elbows on his knees. i lean against his doorframe. i knock on the door lightly enough for him to hear. he looks up.

"oh, um hey" he says

"can i come in?" i say

"of course, close the door too yeah?" he says. i nod closing the door then making my way over to him, standing in front of him. he wraps his arms around my waist and brings me in between his legs. he rests his head on my chest. oh did i forget to mention? we are dating, but no one knows.

"didn't get in huh?" i say playing with his hair

he sighs "no"

"their loss anyways." i say. he looks up and grabs my chin with his fingers and pulls me down gently so i'm face to face with him. he interlocks our lips and slides his hand to my jaw, rubbing circles with his thumb. he brings me over on top of him, he lays down and has me lay down on top of him. he pulls away and wraps his arms around my waist once again. i lay on his chest wrapping mine around his too.

"i don't get it, i'd fit in perfectly." he says

"don't be so bummed out babe, you're amazing" i say. i get up and sit on his lap and his hands moved to the side of my hips. i kiss him and it turns into a make out sesh.

"y/n! cmon it's time!" i hear kane yell.

i pull away "what does he mean it's time?" joey says

"oh we are going to just um lay in the grass." i say

"oh, be safe i guess" he says

"you know it!" i say running down

"finally!" kane says.

"yeah yeah let's go outside before joey kicks YOUR ass for smoking inside the house" i say as we go outside in the front. we lay in the grass while smoking the bong. he passes it to me. i pass it back. it's a normal routine. joey doesn't know i smoke with him, but it's okay i guess. it's not a big deal. i hear the door open which brings me out of my thoughts

"see! told you!" alec says to joey

joey groans "y/nnnnnnnn i thought you were going to lay in the grass! not get high with kane!" he says

"what! it's fun!" i say slightly high

"cmon babe" he says picking me up by my hands from the grass. i widen my eyes as i notice what he called me. he notices too. "shit" we both say

"BABE?!" alec, kane, and steve say.

"um, i, uh, STEVE!" i say running over to steve

"hey y/n" he says hugging me

"what the fuck happened to you!" i say noticing his face

"we should check the news." he says. i nod as we run inside.

"and suck my red, white and blue" president jones alexander says.

"that's BULLSHIT!" i say

"yeah, they shot my fucking dad" steve says

"oh my gosh steve i'm so fucking sorry." i say

"it's okay, but now they'll be looking for me. so we need to be safe"

"WE?" kane and alec says "no you can't stay here! we will all get our heads shot off!" alec says

"he can stay" i say

"WHAT?" alec says

"my house, my mother fucking rules alec" i say

"thank you y/n, you really are my best friend." steve says bringing me into a hug.

"okay okay break it up" joey says pulling me back

"someone's jealous" kane says

"kane shut the fuck up before i do it for you" joey says

"WAIT, ARE YALL DATING?" steve says

"um, well"

"yes for fucks sake! we are! now we can make-out whenever we want instead of always doing it in secret" joey says

"oh my gosh" i say putting my hands to my face

they all laugh. they're such dorks
