"i cant do that. you know i can't. what if i ruin our friendship?"

"eli, you guys have been best friends FOREVER, and you guys are constantly flirting. ask anyone here and they will tell you what i've been telling you, she.likes.you"

"maybe you're right. but i don't care. i'm not going to tell y/n."

"tell me what?" shit... that beautiful voice.

"i um well you see" she laughs

"i'm kidding pretty boy. you don't have to tell me" she says with a smile. oh but how i want to tell you.

"eli if you don't tell her i will" demetri says

"don't you fucking dare"

"okay this seems like it is more important than i thought. you can tell me anything eli, you know that right?" she asks

"i-i know, it's just not easy." i say looking down. she grabs my chin

"i will never judge you eli, please tell me you know that" she says

"i love you okay? that's what i've been wanting to say. it's been killing me slowly. every time i see you walk by, my-my breath stops. and i know you only see me as your best friend but god how i wish you'd see me more than that." she just stares

y/n pov

i just stare. i'm stunned. i don't know what to say. so i kiss him. he's hesitant at first, caught off guard, but then kisses back. i pull away

"i love you too eli. and of course i see you more than that, love. i didn't know how to tell you either." i say. he smiles

"will you be my girlfriend?" he says

"of course i will eli" i chuckle

"ABOUT TIME UGH. I WAS GETTING SO TIRED OF YOU TWO COMPLAINING TO ME SEPARATELY ABOUT HOW YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO MOVE FORWARD."  demetri yells.
