proclamations writ on water
such were the lifeless vows I uttered
they cheered on as my soul tugged tether
Yet it flows away, line of life and dead blurredI remember each day, your smile
and my reflection that pitied my fate
Dare I not ask more, but be grateful the while
Love in abundance yet all it felt sedateAnd here l lie lifeless at rest
with a heart that lived in your debt
Ever last I drowned in guilt, yet you still wailed
For your love benevolent than the heavens,
one such the eternity shall never forget and forever shall it remain prevailed
