"Code strong, 14 Window," an automated voice said calmly over the intercom. Harry saw a couple of nurses rush around from where they'd been sitting in the nurses station to go deal with that. He knew they didn't need to worry about that code because Ashton was still in surgery.

Earlier, Calum had shown up to the warehouse where Wyatt had taken the bus. It was an abandoned lot on the outskirts of the city, the perfect place to abduct a person and ditch a body.

The only thing was, Calum showed up with backup.

"Luke, where are you?" Calum called as he opened the door. The only thing inside the large room was a bus. There didn't seem to be anyone else there.

The door to the bus opened, revealing Niall.

"Ni, what are you doing?" Calum asked.

"Cal, I have a confession," Niall spoke, looking down before glancing at the love of his life. Michael said he should try to get Calum to come willingly before they took him by force. Luke had been enough trouble, if they could get him there calmly, it would be perfect.

"Wait, you were supposed to be with Luke earlier," Calum pretended to be confused. He knew something was up. He'd called Luke's therapist to give her an update on Luke's new attitude, and she'd mentioned the security upgrade. He was confused because he'd thought that was because of Louis and Harry, but she explained it was because Michael had escaped. Calum instantly realized what was going on. Once he'd called the prison, he knew Luke was with him.

Calum had been at his apartment when Luke called. He said he was, but the blonde wasn't there. It looked like he'd left quickly as lights were still on, and he'd just been about to call his friend to ask where he was when he'd gotten the call. Then Luke sounded all strange and he played along, knowing something sinister was going on.

"I was, I left him a bit ago. I wanted to talk to you about something, something important." Niall crossed the room and went over to him.

"Okay, what?"

"I'm just going to say it. I'm in love with you. I want to be with you."

This was the most shocking thing he'd heard all week. Niall was in love with him? Really?

"Ni, I—"

"You don't have to say it back, you don't have to say anything," Niall pressed his finger to Calum's lips. "It's okay, I know you feel the same way. I want us to be together, too,"

Calum took it back. That was the craziest thing he'd heard.

"Niall, we're friends," Calum said slowly, removing the finger from his face. "I don't really see you that way, I'm so sorry. I'd like to still be your friend if you'd like that,"

"I think Niall has something else in mind," a voice said from behind him. Calum felt the barrel of a gun pressed under his chin, and an arm wrap around his waist. He slowly raised his hands up in surrender.

Shit.

"You're going to come with us, and you're not going to put up a fight,"

"Michael," Calum hissed. "I knew you were behind this!"

"I am, and now that we have you, I have Luke, we can get rid of Ashton and be on our way."

"What are you talking about?" Calum growled, not fidgeting too much because of the gun held so close to him.
