Third Person POV

7 Hours Earlier...

Cecilia had just left with Miles on her arm, with the chuckles of her brothers from Miles' leaving statement they return inside the house before going their separate ways.

They knew deep down that Miles was perfect for Cecilia, she was twisted in her fate, she had no escaping if she wasn't Raven then she was sat high upon the bloody throne of being a Mafia Princess. In the twisted games, she found Miles, another man twisted in the ever tightening vines of the underworld.

He is malicious, she was sadistic and together they created magic.

Something so strange, but magnificent. Although it was early doors for the pair and they will forever face challenges of this world, but they knew they would persevere.

Cyrus and Rocco were headed towards the company headquarters to complete some deals and to put into motion the finality of the Basset deal, Cecilia had filled them in on what she had done. They weren't shocked in the slightest of what she did, they were thankful. He was corrupted and disgusting, a contract between their companies would have destroyed them in the process.

Vincenzo was at their warehouse promoting some low level members to help with the Villin problem, of course after they had extensive background searches, pain endorsing training. They were ready, but one more ass kicking from the former capo was needed to know they situation was real.

But Adriano and Giovanni were in the home office arguing. A regular occurrence between the pair. With Adriano always away at the clinic working days on end, and Giovanni living in his own apartment away from the family home, the pair see each other less and less which has weakened their once strong bond.

"I'm not saying you should Giovanni, but walking away from all of this. Is that what you really want?"

That was correct, Giovanni wanted away from the Mafia world, of course he had his reasons, some Adriano knew, one he doesn't.

"Of course I am fucking sure. I am done. Don't get me wrong in some ridiculous way ridding this world of dirty and corrupted fuckers is great but I need this."

"Entering a life without all this isn't that easy. You are still associated by name. You will still be haunted by the memories, haunted by the demons. Is that what you want."

Deep down Giovanni didn't want to leave, this was all he knew, he watched himself grow stronger as well as smarter. But it was the right decision.

Italy offered him so much more.

"It is something I am willing to accept. Being this involved is detrimental on me."

Adriano nodded. As he was about to start again the lights in the office flickered and then they went fully out. Giovanni exited the office, gun drawn from his waistband as he checked the corridor.

"Lights are out everywhere." Adriano had pulled out two small torches and handed one to Giovanni. They had leant against the office door while the strategised.

"You take east, I'll go west. Send a few guards in to take the north and south." Gio nodded.

"Shoot to kill fratello?"

"Shoot to kill fratello." They smiled before exiting the office, going their seperates ways, agreeing to meet back in the office in ten minutes to go to the panic room, situated underneath their dad's desk.

They had both put earpieces in during their time in the office, but all they were getting o the other end of static. They didn't have the time to fix the problem, so they just left it. Hoping they will pass some guards during their searches.
