The night of the ball it was. Daisy's 10th anniversary as princess of Sarasaland, and the lady herself was hosting a gigantic dance in her mansion. The stars glistened above the dark blue sky as the young star queen wished upon the largest one.
"Mother...if you're up there, please bestow upon me a blessing of confidence. I wish that this ball will go well tonight, and that I won't make a fool out of myself." Said the girl.
Her eyes began to water and shake as Polari, her most trusted luma, set a hand on her bare shoulder. A little squeak came from his mouth, and Rosalina smiled.
"Right...this is a party, not a talent show. Things will be fine." Her chest sunk, making a sigh of relief and reassurance.
Though she was invited to almost every game and event there was since her becoming, the woman's anxiety issue was still far from resolved. Overthinking was the way to go with most things, and she honestly disliked herself because of that sole reason. Shy, socially awkward, and terribly anxious she was, but that didn't stop her from yearning to become better. And so, before every occasion, she prays and wishes upon her most beloved star to grant her the confidence and reassurance that she most often needs.
She turned toward the luma, and the mansion could be seen not too far from where she landed her observatory. Lights could be seen beaming up into the sky, and the tips of the mansion was hidden behind the tree line of the forest she surrounded herself with.
"Alright Polari, let us make our way out of this field and to the ball. We've got a night to burn!"
The elder star child cheered, and followed Rosalina shortly after she began floating toward the blinding lights.
