Chapter 19- The Glass Tank

The next day, Mia Isabella went to Ray's dad's house with Suga. She breathe heavily as she approached the porch of his house. She can't remember much of Ray's house as Mia was not invited much to his house for pretty much anything. She looked back at Suga before she reached for the doorbell. Suga decided to wait in the car just outside the house so that it would be easier for him to enter the house when he needs to. Mia rang the doorbell and waited there for someone to open the door. She saw someone approaching the door and opening it.

"Yes, who are you?" one lady asked at the door.

"Isn't Mr. Santiago in?" Mia asked that lady as she peeked in the house.

"He went out and he is not back yet. May I know who are you please?" that lady asked Mia politely with a smile.

"I am...Mia Isabella. I need to see him urgently about some office matter," Mia lied to that lady.

"I will tell him once he is back home. Did you make an appointment with him by any chance?" she asked Mia.

"No actually. It is pretty urgent, that is why," Mia said as she sheepishly smiled at her.

"Just pass me your number and I will pass it to him once he is back," that lady said as she handed Mia a notepad and a pen.

"No, he has my number. I will talk to him and schedule timing for the meet," Mia said.

That lady nodded her head and closed the door behind her. Mia turned back and started to walk slowly towards Suga's car. She did not notice a huge black van was approaching fast towards her so Mia crossed the road without looking up to the road. The van stopped right in front of her and within seconds, Suga heard Mia scream his name but he couldn't see her. Before he could get down from the car, her voice was muffled and faded as the van sped its way off. Suga got in the car and tried to follow that black van. He quickly called Jackson for help and told him to track down the number plate. 

"This number plate seems to belong to Ray Santiago," Jackson said on the line to Suga.

"Ray?! The van is under his name? Got it!" Suga said as he ended the call before he followed that van makes a sharp turn.

He knew he had to follow that van close enough to see where they are heading and at the same time, he had to make sure he wasn't seen. He got a call from an unknown number and before he could answer it, he lost the van! He halted his car at the side of the alley and answered the call. 

"If you want your girlfriend, come to the place in front of you now," the speaker said as he ended the call.

Suga panicked tried to call back that number but he couldn't reach that number back. He took a deep breath and got down from the car. He looked around his surroundings and carefully scanned that area. He looked at the building in front of him. he walked over to that place slowly and in cautions. Suga opened the aluminum door and stepped into that place silently. He looked around and searched for Mia. He touched his gun behind his back just to make sure he brought his gun with him. Just then, Suga was rooted to the ground to see Ray's dad kneeling on the floor with blood flowing down his forehead. Suga quickly took out his gun from his pocket and looked around the whole place as he approached Ray's dad. 

"You did not expect this right?" a voice sounded from the top of that building.

Suga looked up and saw Crystal's dad looking down at him from the top floor of that building. He aimed his gun towards Crystal's dad and waited to trigger it.

"Before you do anything, just have a look there!" Crystal's dad said as he pointed to Suga's right.

Suga turned his head and he was forced to put his gun into his back. His eyes widened as he witness Mia in a huge glass box filling with water. Water was filling halfway and was at Mia's knee level. Mia was looking at Suga and she was crying for help as her mouth was stuffed with a white cloth. Suga couldn't hear her voice as the glass box was thick and bulletproof.
