Chapter 7: Bun in the Oven!

 "So, Mia has put Ray behind bars now and Suga is suspicious about the cut that Mia has on her chest", Eleanor said as she placed her burner phone down on the kitchen slab.

"We are going to be caught, mother. If they decide to take out the small recorder in Mia's chest, they would easily find out who planned all this", Airedale whined to her mother.

"Shut up, Airedale! I know Mia isn't that smart to find out something is planted in her. It is Suga and his friend whom we should be careful of. They are like a hawk around Mia", Eleanor said cautiously.

"Shall we ask Mia to stay with us then? Maybe Suga and his friend wouldn't be so suspicious if we willingly take Mia in with us", Airedale said.

"Fool! They would be more on alert if we take in Mia because Suga knows what kind of tortures we gave Mia and he would be here often to check on her. Our plans would fail!", Eleanor got angry at her daughter.

"Sorry mother, I wasn't thinking straight. I thought if Mia is with us, they would back off", Airedale explained.

"You want Suga and his friend to back off? I have a plan for that", Eleanor said as she sipped her wine.

Airedale smiled evilly at this as she knows her mother wouldn't fail in planning a super brilliant plan for Mia, Suga, and his friend. Airedale looked at her phone and jumped off from the chair as she said she would be late for work. Airedale had gotten a job at one of the restaurants as a waiter recently during the semester break of her university. Airedale is paid enough and she was happy with her job so that is how Airedale got to buy Mia's inheritance house after Mia signed the lease contract.

"Come home early today. We have to go out for something", Eleanor said to Airedale.

Airedale nodded and skipped out of her house as she waited for the bus outside.

"Do you want to tell her yet? About the cut on her chest?", Jackson asked Suga as they were having their breakfast.

"Soon or later she has to know but not right now. This has to wait till the current case is closed. I need to know who else is in this. If it is a recorder that is in her, I am sure they would be listening to all the plans that we make with her plus till now they are not aware that we know about it. So, this is the chance for me to catch those who are involved in this secretly", Suga said calmly to Jackson.

"Hey, boys! Have any coffee for me?", Mia suddenly appeared from the corner of the hall to the kitchen.

Suga smiled at Mia and pointed at the coffee maker as he dragged her a chair for her to sit with them.

"Do you think she heard us?", Jackson whispered into Suga's ears.

"I don't think so plus what is she has heard us? We still need to tell her, right?", Suga coolly said to Jackson.

"What if she panics and wants that thing out of her right away? All of your plans would be wasted", Jackson whispered again.

Suga looked over to Mia who was busy taking the bread out from the cupboard and turned back to Jackson slowly.

"I know Mia very well. I will talk to her slowly about this and tell her she could be a big help to this case. She will listen. Now, don't overthink and drink that coffee before it is cold", Suga pointed at the cup that Jackson was holding.

Jackson nodded his head with a smile on his face and looked at Mia as she approached them with her plate.

"How is your head?", Suga asked Mia.
