Chapter 20: The Doubt

As Jackson and Suga were waiting outside the emergency room, Jackson had a call from his head informing them about a warehouse which they located with some drugs and some other illegal products in there. Jackson informed Suga about this but Suga wanted to stay back and wait for Mia to be conscious again. Jackson convinced Suga that they would be back before Mia opens her eyes. Suga thought about it as he had to wait for her to be conscious again for another 6-7 hours. So, Suga agreed with Jackson and told the nurses at the front desk to call him if anything happens. 

Both of them rushed out from the hospital and headed to the location sent by their head. Jackson drove his car to that warehouse hoping to clean this case fully as they were working on this for months to bust the owner and the items in the warehouse. Suga checked his gun if it was loaded and closed back the gun lid carefully. As they reached their destination, Jackson parked his car behind a huge tree avoiding anyone to seeing them in the car. 

They got down from the car and Suga took his gun from his back pocket and unlocked his gun's safety pin. Jackson got ready and walked slowly towards the entrance of the warehouse trying to make less noise as they walk. They wondered where were all the backups when they should have rounded up the warehouse and identified the suspects. Suga signaled Jackson that he would head in front first and asked Jackson to cover for him. Jackson nodded his head and looked around for any suspects around the warehouse.    

"Freeze, or you will regret it if you take one more step there!" Jackson yelled as he held his gun to Crystal's head.

Suga turned around and saw Jackson was still at the entrance of the warehouse. He was holding his gun to Crystal's head as she raised her hands up in the air. It looked like she was about to take out her gun from her back pocket but Jackson was fast.

"So, this is your warehouse?" Suga asked Crystal in surprise.

"I did not think of you of someone who would put work first to Mia though", Crystal sarcastically said to provoke Suga. 

Suga smirked at Crystal and saw Jackson signaling him to take her down. Suga understood Jackson and immediately took Crystal down by kicking her knee. Crystal fell down hard on the floor and her gun fell from her back pocket. Just then, the police surrounded the whole place and they managed to arrest Crystal and also her dad who was hiding behind the warehouse. 

"So, you still think that you have won here Crystal Frost?" Jackson purposely provoked her.

"Don't think that this is over. I will come out and I will make sure you both are dead," Crystal said in a low tone to both of them before they took her out.

Suga's expression changed a little when Crystal provoked them by saying that it wasn't over. He was afraid she might start back her rivalry against them once she manages to come out. Suga quickly shrugged those thoughts from his mind and searched the place and ceased a few huge containers that were supposed to be transported illegally to another country that night. Jackson gave a strong report on Crystal and her dad to make sure they don't come out easily for a long time. As Suga was inspecting some of the other containers, Jackson noticed that Suga's reactions were disturbed and he was restless.

"Is everything okay?" Jackson asked Suga as he approached him.

"This is not over yet, isn't it?" Suga asked Jackson in doubt.

"You actually care about what Crystal said to us just now?" Jackson teased Suga a little as he nudged Suga on his arm playfully. 

Suga sighed hard and continued to check the containers in the warehouse. Jackson could clearly see Suga was upset and worried.

"Mia needs to have a good life. I want to make sure of that," Suga said as he opened one of the containers to check.

  "You can take Mia and leave the country. Settle wherever you guys like and start over again with her," Jackson suggested to Suga.
