Episode 4

I went to Lilly since she's working at the motel, and since I wanna check in there, I can't stay at Jessy's house forever.

"Give me your ID," Lilly said and I got out 

my ID from the bag and gave it to her.

"Maya Andrea Miller,. you're middle name is Andrea, girl you're getting weirder and weirder everyday," Lilly humored and I said "shut up Lilly I'm already in a bad mood,"

"why is that, Jake is not talking to you?" she asked sarcastically again and I said "Jake not talking to me is ten times better thank getting marked with a raven sign," her eyes widened and she asked "what?"

"I got marked today and my car is destroyed, Jessy said she'll take care of it when she gets back from the police department," I explained and she said "yeah Phil is getting out," okay I get it, she thinks he had something to do with her sister but I don't think so.

"Lilly, I don't think he hurt Hanna," I explained and she nodded her head and said "I know," she smiled and gave me my room key and I went there, then saw a message from Phil, so he's out already.

I looked at his profile picture and I started hearing voices in my head which means I'm remembering something.

Maya 17 years old

"I've never seen you drink like that before," Phil said as he refilled my glass and I drank it in one gulp then reached for the bottle but he said "Maya enough, you had plenty," I started protesting like a child but today I needed to drink.

"I had a fight with my best friends today my childhood friends because of a stupid legend, give me the bottle Phil," I said and tried to take the bottle but he pulled it away again and called someone.

"is the only solution to your problems is drinking?" I heard Hannah's voice say and turned around to see her in front of me while Jennifer stayed outside, I never understood why she doesn't like Phil.

"I'm sorry," I said and hugged her then I heard her say "it's okay idiot, best friends always fight that's what keeps us close," then she pulled me out the bar and I protested again.

"girl, your father called me and asked me to bring you home... Jennifer I need some help here," she said and they both managed to get me in the car.

'present'

Great so I know Hannah, Jennifer and Phil, did I really forget all of this and didn't try to remember it, and why didn't Hannah try to make me remember if I was her best friend then she should have tried.

I opened Phil's message which said :

Phil : So I heard you're in town.

Maya : You're out, congratulations.

Phil : on bail but yeah.

Phil : So wanna stop at Aurora?

Maya : Sure.

Phil : See you.

I changed into my bar clothes, yeah I have some clothes for specific events then headed to Aurora.

I entered Aurora and it was mostly empty and I get it people are afraid of Phil but not me, I sat on the chair and rested my hands on the counter then said "Excuse me, I was invited here," Phil immediately turned around and smiled.

"Hello there," he said then asked "what do you want to drink?" I looked at him for a minute then answered "do you have vodka?"

"I sure do" he went to get a glass then poured some vodka into my glass and I decided to say "you're a good actor to pretend to not know me at all," he froze and turned around to look at me.

"what are you talking about?" he asked and I immediately said "cut the crap Phil, I remember, not everything but I remember," he sighed then took a glass and poured some vodka for himself then said "you were better off without us,"

"better of without you, and who are you to decide what's best for me?" I asked as my anger was boiling, everyone, everyone is making decisions on my behalf and it sucks.

"Hannah did, she said you've been hurt enough, she didn't want you to get more hurt," Phil said and I asked "hurt enough because of who?" he hesitated then answered "Go home Maya, you don't want to be a part of this again," then he went away to another customer, i dropped the money on the table then headed out and then back to the motel.

I was exhausted and especially with the memory recovering thing, I get double exhausted so I went to sleep.

'Maya 18 years old'

"stay the hell away from my brother Jennifer," I screamed at her as I was holding the cocaine in my hands, she's having drugs, she have fucking drugs.

"Your brother is old enough and knows what he's doing," she said and Immediately fired back "old enough, he's 16 years old, Jennifer... did you look in the mirror, your eyes are red, you don't remember anything from  the other days, all of that because you're taking this shit," she started laughing hysterically .

"of course you're not going to know what I'm going through, you're not the one who got marked, and even if you get marked, you're going to run and hide into your daddy's arms and he'll protect you, but who will protect me? huh?" she said and I shook my head in disbelief, how could she say that, I went through hells for her, I almost died for her, and after all of that, this is what she says.

"that much... you hate me that much, I only ever wanted to protect you and Hannah, that crazy ass psycho is following us he entered my house almost killed me and I didn't say a goddamn word for you, so that you wouldn't worry, my own mother treats me like I'm not her blood, yes, yes I will run and hide into my Daddy's arms because he's the only one who loved me besides you and Hannah, I only wanted to keep you safe, to protect you from him and that's how you repay me, thank you Jennifer, really thank you,"  I bursted out then threw the cocaine on the ground and went to my car, then drove away as tears ran down my face.

'Present' 

I woke up gasping and sweating from the nightmare I just had, did that really happen? did I fight with Jennifer?
