Episode 2

I was currently in my car on my way to Duskwood, and I already told my family that I'll be away for a few days and thank god my family doesn't ask a lot of questions, I still don't know how to make the guys believe it's me but I'll find a way, on my way I saw aurora bar closed, but the problem is I Don't know where Jessy's house is, since they are staying there because of the curfew, so I stopped a woman from the road and asked "excuse me there is a woman names Jessy she lives here and works in a garage can I know where her house is?"

"Jessy the redhead woman right?" she asked and I said "exactly," and the woman gave me directions to Jesse's house and right now I was in front of it in my car, I took a deep breath and got out of the car taking my small hand bag with me and knocked on the door.

Thomas was the one to open the door and he said "hello stranger," I smiled and said "Hello Thomas," he seemed taken a back and asked "do I know you?"

"Thomas it's me, Maya," I said and he looked way to surprised and I heard Lilly say "Tom who is it?"

"a woman saying she's Maya," he said and opened the door wide so I can come in and I found all the guys there just staring at me.

"hey guys," I said and thing are really awkward but then Dan broke the silence and said "how can we know that you're Maya?" And I couldn't answer that because they are right I have no evidence on who I am.

"wait guys there was a secret something between me and Maya if this person know that secret then it's Maya," Lilly said and I understood what she was referring to so I went beside her and whispered "Jake is your half brother," and her eyes widened realizing that it's really me.

"guys it's her, it's Maya," Lilly stated and everyone was in shock so I decided to explain "I know it's hard to believe, but I couldn't just stay out of here and be useless, you're my friends guys and maybe just maybe we can solve this mystery if we are all together," and Dan chuckled.

"yeah that's the kind of speech only Maya would give," he said and I let out a small laugh and then asked "you guys believe me right?"

"I do," Jessy said then came to me and hugged me, then everyone in the room followed, we settled on the couches and once again Dan is the first one to talk.

"but let me be honest that's not what I expected," I gave him a confused look and asked "what do you mean?"

"I expected more of a naive and shy girl with pink dresses but I didn't expect a girl in black leather pants and leather jacket, long boots, blonde hair, green eyes, I didn't expect any of this," he explained and I chuckled and asked "so is what you said good or bad?"

"good of course I mean thank god there is a badass girl in this group," he said and the three girls throw pillows at him as my phone rang, shit, i completely forgot to tell dad that I'll be out of town.

"stop for a minute," I said then answered the phone "Daddy," I heard him sigh and say "princess where are you?"

"sorry I forgot to tell you that I'll be out of town for a few days," i explained and he said "okay tell me where are you so I can send-" but I cut him off mid sentence and said "Dad, for God's sake I'm 28 years old, I don't need guards all around me," and I understand him, a few years back I had an accident that made me lose some of my memories but it won't happen again.

"princess I'm just trying to protect you, you're my life, my everything, nothing is more important than you and your brother and mother, okay?" he explained and I let out a sigh and said " Dad, I know and I'll be fine, you just make sure that Eli is fine and that's all I need," Eli is my little brother not a lot younger than me but still my baby brother.

"fine just be careful, okay?" Dad said.

"I will be careful,"

"love you princess," Dad said and I immediately said "love you to Dad, bye," he hung up and I let out a long sigh.

"what the hell was that?" Cleo asked and I answered "it was my Dad, I forgot to tell him that I'll be out of town," Lilly smiled and said "it seems you're your father's little girl," I took a pillow and throw it at her.

"guys the police are letting us go out normally," Dan said and I immediately said " then let's go search for Richy," and we all headed to the forest, and I'm happy Jake didn't call me or text me it would have been hard to lie to him since I promised him not to come here.

we arrived to the forest and I stopped in my tracks, I knew this place, and not From the news, I started hearing voices in my head, and it's like I traveled back in time 12 years.

'Past'

"ah come on Maya let's play," Jennifer said as she was pulling my hand towards the forest, I stopped her and said "Jenny, stop, this place is dangerous, didn't you hear about the duskwood legend,"

"God you're such a coward," Jenny said and I frowned and said "I'm not a coward okay?" you want to go then let's go,"

'Present'

"Maya,Maya are you okay?" I heard Jessy's voice and nodded my head then kept running with them.

I knew this place and I knew Jennifer, who knows what else did I forget in that goddamn accident.
